Lately I been on social media more than I usually do. Some things I do to protect my identity for social media is creating unique passwords and setting my accounts private. This will avoid people I don't know personally viewing my profile/account. Whenever I'm using the internet, I will always have a running software for internet safety. And I shred anything that display my personal information such as name, address, phone number, recipts etc. Some precautions I should take for I won't become a victim of identity theft would be monitor my credit report more often, keep important papers secure, stop online shopping with website without the lock symbol and stop carrying more than I need in my purse (two credit cards, social security number).
There are many reasons that cause the US declared war. The important one was the US want to make the world safely for democracy. Beginning with Germany attacked the U.S. from submarine , German sunk American ships and taken American lives. It increased tension between two nation. And from the document Woodrow Wilson Speech said “ Neutrality is no longer feasible or desirable where the peace of the world is involved.” meaning they have no longer to stay out of the war. So The US. declared war to make the world safe for democracy and to make peace for the whole world.

The Puritan society in ‘The Crucible’ is a religious, tightly bound, and very “watchful” group of people. They came to America to practice their religion in peace, and the community has had to learn to come closer together in order to survive. Their rules and morals are based on their religion, not their government. This was a society built on “beliefs and values”.
I agree with you, we must take action to save social security and medicare now before it is too late. I also agree that no changes should be made for the Americans that already receive benefits, or are approaching the age. I believe that they paid into the system many relying on these programs to survive. I think changes should be made for younger generations so that we are aware and can plan accordingly.

Social Security is a system that is prevailing in several nations for their citizens’ welfare, which was initiated in the US in 1930’s. Ever since it was originated, it has been on the ramp getting modified constantly in such a way that it meets the needs of the Americans.
Social security has been a big part of our nation since 1935 when the great depression plagued our nation. Social security is an independent trust fund and has been since its creation. 1 Social Security Benefits cannot be given out to anyone who hasn't paid into it. No one can receive it as welfare or other types of governmental assistance. 1 Many people think that Congress takes money out of the Social Security fund and irresponsibly uses it. The truth is, congress is using it how they are supposed to be. They are using it to pay people their owed social security benefits and other important government programs. Although the federal debt may be high and respect for congress may be low, they are using it as they should. 2
Social Security first started in the United States on August 14th, 1935 when Franklin D. Roosevelt signed the social security act. This act was created in the midst of the Great Depression, the worst economic situation in American history in an effort to continue income for people that retire after the age of 65, at this point there needed to be some big changes not only to help our economy presently but to ensure a bright future for our economy generations to come. On that same day the Social Security Administration was created as an agency to watch over social security and is independent of the United States Federal government (Social Security, 2016). Having this new system also allowed for more jobs to be created because it was quite the
For over 80 years social security has provided Americans with money after they reach the minimum age requirement. This money has provided retirement money for millions of people across the country but is now in jeopardy. To get an understanding of the current and future situation of social security it’s important to understand what social security is, when it was created, why it was created, and also how it has performed since it was created. After getting an understanding of social security I will then talk about the current state of social security including problems with it and the different arguments that are being made about what should be done with social security. The problems and current situation of social security will also be
In 1935, President Franklin D. Roosevelt, signed a document that created a new phenomenon called Social Security. Social Security is a government program where people pay 7% of their wages into it and those who are retired, unemployed, or unable to work can receive Social Security. Social Security recently has become a little more concerning for people in the future because of the Baby Boomers are getting closer to that age where they can receive Social Security. However, the people of the United States are still to this day for the government program. During George W. Bush’s time as President, he wanted to privatize Social Security. He quickly was despised by the public and Democrats for trying to restructure Social Security; therefore, the

Too many working Americans citizens are not making enough income for their daily living. Thus, they suffer drastically to make an honest living (Holzmann, 2015). Due to the collapse of the economy, so many people have lost their jobs and even their retirement savings. Many Americans are living way below the poverty line. With the cost of living going up and a minimum wage at a standstill, many are going for government aid such as income support. Income support is the extra money for low-income earners and those with no income. Programs such Temporary Assistance For Needy Families, Supplemental Security Income and Social Security are benefits that provide income to the needy, to maintain their moral and healthy lifestyle (Plotnick,
There is no “sure” way to stop identity theft from happening to someone. There are only measures that may make it harder for thieves to steal someone’s identity because nothing is foolproof. People can shred their important documents after they’re done with them to help prevent their identity to be stolen via dumpster diving, but the thief may find all the shreds and put them together just like a puzzle. The odds of this happening are slim, but there is still a chance, a chance lower than just throwing it out. People should make sure to not use ATMs and not to do personal banking in public, but this will only slow down a thief who is determined to steal someone’s identity. Once a thief is determined to steal someone’s identity and only their identity, there are not many obstacles stopping him/her.
