Solar Energy Can Not Harm The Earth

“Even if we didn 't have greenhouse gases, were going to have to move away from fossil fuels, as we 're going to run out. They 're finite, where as solar and wind are infinite.” - Ted Turner. Solar panels use the energy that comes from sunlight to give power. Low-temperature collectors are flat plates generally used to heat pools. Medium-temperature collectors are also usually flat plates but are used for heating water or air for residential and commercial use. High-temperature collectors concentrate sunlight using mirrors and lenses. and are generally used for fulfilling heat requirements up to 300 deg C / 20 bar pressure in industries, and for electric power production. Installation of solar panels costs 15000 to 40000 on average. Solar…show more content…
It is fuel free. Solar energy is the best source of energy because it uses the suns energy rather than fossil fuels, is renewable and can be used anywhere. Solar thermal energy is the best source of energy because it uses the suns energy instead of fossil fuels. As The Union of Concerned Scientists state in the article “how solar energy works”, “solar energy is a vast and inexhaustible resource. Once the system is in place it converts the rays into useful energy and will never have ups and downs of energy markets” (p1). Solar energy is inexhaustible because it does not use or give off fuels. It is fuel free. Instead it uses the light from the suns rays and converts it into heat. Since it doesn’t use fuels but instead the suns energy it is a reliable source. There will always be light. Further more National geographic in their article “solar energy” say that “using solar active technologies is used to harness energy by mechanical devices and electrical devices to convert rays into energy”(1). Mechanical devices and electrical devices harness energy. Since the energy is being harnessed through electricity it is not using fuels nor giving off fuels while converting rays into energy such as heat. Scientific american experts in the article “How does solar power work?” say “the light hits certain materials which the energy turns
