Introduction
- The borders are the imaginary line that divides a country from other.
Some countries build a wall to divide the country for other to keep “safe” their people from the dangers of the other country and no one can’t get in or get out, in some countries that the borders are not totally close the only way to get to the country is by having a passport or visa.
Keep the borders open to the countries have advantages like the trade, with the trade the country can have earnings for all the people and have more products that the people need. Unlike closing the borders can have serious problems, like the people can get out the country, the trade can’t be good, it could not have advances, in short words, the country will be isolated.

The executive director of Amnesty International USA, Margaret Huang, said: "We will fight with all our weapons against this dangerous decision. This wall will say that we must fear and reject people from outside the United States, especially those in Latin America, and that is simply wrong. " (amnesty international, 25 January 2017)
The reason to build the wall is to stop the drug trafficking, the organized crime and the illegal immigrants, because the immigrants take of the work from the Americans.
The idea of build a wall and a refugee camps all around the border with the U.S. and Mexico from the president Donald Trump is causing a lot of controversy in the country, many politicians are not approving the idea of build a wall, they say that this actions can violate the humans rights and can cause a lot of problem with the people like racism or discrimination. The amnesty international is going to keep watching the actions of the president Trump
Last year when Donald Trump became President of the United States he wanted to build a wall that would seperate the U.S. from Mexico. He wanted to do this to stop any illegal drugs, terrorists, or weapons from crossing the border. Athough it was a good idea, many people were
All through America's history it always had a presidential election every four years, and last years presidential election campaign there were two leading candidates, so to ensure their victory, they both made promises significant changes, creation. All through last year's campaign, a candidate named Donald J. Trump made several promises, and one of his promises could change the way of life in American. Mr.Trump won last years presidential election, and all eyes were on him to the promise vowed to do if and when he is president. That one promise which is opposed by six in ten Americans is that President Trump promised a 'big, beautiful wall' that would be placed on the Mexican and American border. President Trump Proposed that he could construct the wall for 8 billion, but now it is known that wall will cost about $21.6 billion for the wall and that the $21.6 plan doesn't include the $150 million a year to maintain. America shouldn’t Build a Wall along the US/Mexico Border because of the high cost and how it will affect America's economy, also thought the wall would keep out undocumented immigrant from crossing the US border but it is shown that undocumented immigrants contribute over $11 billion to the US economy each year, and lastly the environment that is near the border, and how it will be affected and disturbed due to the construction the border wall.
The 45th president of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump, is a political man who has many ideas to improve the U.S. One of the many idea he had included building a wall between the borders of the United States and Mexico for the “purpose of controlling immigration into America”. According to Trump this wall is supposed to help our country with its national security. In reality though, many people believe that the wall is showing Trumps true colors. Many people are contemplating on the fact if Trump is a racist person who is building the wall because it provides a method of targeting and preventing those who are trying to cross the Mexican-American Border. In reality, Trump only cares about trying to make “America Great Again”, and
The wall that Bowden discusses is the barrier between the United States and the country of Mexico to the south. He uses the terms fences, borders, and barricades. Part of the wall is constructed of metal. Other portions are concrete. Each of the materials that are used is hard and designed to be uncomfortable and discouraging to those who see it, effectively creating both a physical and psychological barrier between acceptable and unacceptable populations. The purpose of the wall, according to Bowden, is to keep a certain population out of the United States. Mexican illegal immigrants are crossing the border into the United States in large numbers. For the American government, illegal immigration is an unacceptable set of circumstances and the purpose of erecting a wall was to keep those people from crossing the border into the United States. Bowden explains that the wall is effective only until the point when inclination and desire of the excluded population overcomes the existence of the wall. People will then cross over it or crash through it. If their will is strong enough, then the people will be able to overcome the wall, making its presence outdated and ineffectual. Since people overcome the wall, there is no need to keep the wall or to provide moneys to either enlarge it or for the upkeep of the wall. Each
Many say that the border wall is a bad idea, but others say it has some benefits. President Trump said in his campaign that he wanted “a great, great wall.” This was to ensure that anyone with no papers doesn’t take the jobs that “Americans” need. Since there are 2 sides of this problem they should both be addressed.
People like Donald Trump want this wall built so that the illegal immigrants stop coming the US and the war on drugs coming in from Mexico is handled. The reasons this need to happen is because of the mixture of foreign workers that hold down the American’s salaries by taking other
Did you know that it will cost billions to finish the border wall between U.S and Mexico? Do you know where is Trump is going to get billions from ? Tax payers. Congress has no idea where to get the money to fund the building of the border wall between the U.S and Mexico. The fence will not stop immigrants from coming into the country at all, there are ways that people from Mexico can enter the U.S legally. The border wall is too expensive and impractical for us to continue building to complete it, it’s going to take 4 years for the border wall to completely finish covering the remaining 1,250 miles. A border wall won’t solve any terrorist problem that we as a country have. We shouldn’t continuing the building of the U.S- Mexico border because it just a waste of time and money because it will take 4 years for the border wall to be completely finish the border and maybe after the wall is finish, May not Trump won’t be president The border wall won’t help the crime rate go down in the U.S.
The issue of immigration is a constant concern for many in the United States and around the world. It connects to the political debate topic of building the wall to prevent Mexican immigrants from entering the country as well as send away the illegal immigrants that are living here as well. According to Renwick & Lee , as President Donald Trump begins his presidency, he has been sharing about how he wants to build a wall on the borders to eliminate any immigrants from entering the USA. This has caused many to feel rejected due to their differences. Also, it has encouraged many citizens to discriminate against
In previous years, many countries and territories around the world have attempted to build walls, and many have had very much success. For example, Most of the walls built after World War 2 and the Cold War still exist today. There were a total of 110 walls built between that time period. Professor Nazli Avdan led a study that had a goal of identifying if a border wall reduced or increased the risk of a transnational terrorist attack. This study found that since the year 1900, transnational terrorist attacks have seen a thirteen percent annual decrease in countries with border walls (Border fences reduce...attacks). This has been a real focal point that President Donald Trump has used to get people to agree with him. Another reason of his includes the disrupting of the funneling of illicit money and drugs into the United States of America (Border fences reduce...attacks). The bonus of the building of the wall is that it will be a visible sign of the government taking action.
The 2016 presidential election has created much controversy as both parties were viciously attacking each other throughout the campaign season; one of the initiatives that the Republican Party was the wanting to pursue was the building of a wall that will border the United States and Mexico. Although the source of this money is unaware, Trump’s plan is make the country of Mexico to pay for it as it stretches nearly two thousands miles long and has a great expense (Drew).
In this CAP, I will address both sides of the argument over the introduction of a wall built on the southern border of the U.S. The U.S borders with Mexico, which spans over 2,000 miles from California to Texas. Issues have arisen with not having a secure border, which includes: illegal immigration, drug trafficking, and other breaches that reduce our overall security. George W. Bush, signed the Secure Fence Act of 2006, which mandated the construction of almost 700 miles of fences along the Mexican border. This act also introduced the expansion of vehicle barriers, checkpoints, and technological systems designed to monitor the boundary. The current fencing has two sections. The primary fencing, which is typically 18 feet high, while the secondary
One goal of President Trump is to build a wall near the southern border. According to the LA Times, President Trump insists that,“We will build a great wall along the southern border. And Mexico will pay for the wall. One hundred percent. They don't know it yet, but they're going to pay for it. And they're great people and great leaders but they're going to pay for the wall. On day one, we will begin working on intangible, physical, tall, power, beautiful southern border wall. We will use the best technology, including above and below ground sensors that's the tunnels. Remember that, above and below”(LA Times 7). President Trump is claiming that if a border wall is established, Americans will be benefitting from it, even though he is kicking out immigrants from the U.S. in order to create those opportunities.
Supporters of Trump’s wall believe that building a physical boundary will stop all illegal immigration between the US and Mexico; however, increasing security on the border will not completely stop illegal immigration. It is estimated that between twenty seven to forty percent of illegal immigrants come to the US by plane (Greenberg). Building a wall won’t stop people from legally crossing the border by plane and then deciding to stay in America. In fact, one can logically assume that making illegal immigration harder by land will only result in growing numbers of illegal immigration by air. Spending billions on
Donald Trump is vowing to build a massive, impenetrable wall along the U.S.-Mexico border to keep out illegal Mexican migrants. The number of undocumented immigrants entering the United States has steadily declined since the turn of the century.Nobody wants to live in a country where people are afraid of their neighbors, and that is the exact message a border wall would send. This country was founded on immigrants. People come here to better themselves and their Communities.
Barriers are made to keep people out, but some people want to break free from barriers. The president of The United States declared that he will build a wall to keep people out. Although people in America agree with the president; however, some people do not think that this is what America should do to fix this situation. Some people in this society question how America would be known for the wall. Notwithstanding America’s needs, the population does not think of how it will affect people in Mexico.
