Someone who has been influential to me, besides my parents is my Grammy. She has always been there for me when I needed her the most and has taken me into her home many times throughout my life. She was very influential on me because she taught me how to be a clean freak, be responsible for my actions, and to always keep a smile on my face. Also, Grammy taught me that even when it gets hard to just keep going and pushing through life because she was always saying I could achieve anything I put myself up to. With this I have pushed through many things at school including passing a test, doing homework, ignoring drama, and making new friends. I have achieved a lot of my goals due to her showing me that things may happen, but you can always achieve
Which, in my case the one who has influenced me the most into becoming a significant person would be my grandmother. She doesn’t let her sickness get in the way of helping others and telling me to never give up on my education. She would always say “work hard on anything that you believe in so even when times are tough.” My grandma is always there if needed either by helping in a way to get things done or by keeping people company. She’s full with an outstanding spirit, never asks for anything in return after getting the stuff done. It comes to show that her actions speak louder than words could ever do, By hearing all of the good things she does for people makes me want to become a better person. Therefore, I want to be able to assist people with a wide range of situations that they are facing
One of the biggest influences on me has been my PA. He was welcoming, trusting, loving, caring, and many other things. He answered my questions and gave me the push I needed to strive after things. He spent time with me as I worked through stressful times and believed me when I tried new things. He has been more than just my PA, he is a great friend who has guided me. Another thing that really impacted my development would be deciding to have
Everyone has a significant person that has impacted their life. For me, it would have to be my mother. My mother has always been a great teacher because she has taught how I should look at situations. She taught me major things in such simple ways. PPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPI know that I can always rely on my mom as someone to look up to when I’m struggling mentally.
We all have our own values, came from different families, lived in different environments, and ultimately have different influences in our lives that make us who we are today. Over the past nineteen-years, there has been quite of few individuals who have influenced me. The two individuals who have influenced me the most is my mom, Lena Yang, and my ex-boyfriend, Jeremy Huynh.
The person, place, or event that had the strongest impact on me is my Mom. My mom as always been there when I need her, she always help me in every. My mom always tell me and my sister that education is the most important thing that u need in order to be successful in life. The person that I am today is the way my mom has e been teaching me because she told to respect and treat other the way you what to be treated. She always been there when I need her. My uncles are also there because they talk about what I should and should not do.
One on main influences that my parents have shown me in life have been doing the right thing, and always be strong. Being strong means the most to me because when my mom broke her
One of the most influential people in my life is my Grandma. She is always telling me how great of a young man I am and how she always has faith in what i'm doing. She has also taught me many lessons about being a better person. This made me realize the importance of having a good work ethic, and how having a good work ethic will get you very far in life. Helping her in the garden planting all the fresh veggies that we would most likely be eating in a future meal, or helping her
There are many people who have shaped my life in a positive or a negative way. One person who has impacted my life in a positive way is Michelle. Michelle used to be my neighbor, and her and her family were the first people to welcome us when we moved. She treated me like family, and I even considered her as my second mom. I was able to tell her anything, and she would always be there for me. Michelle always has a smile on her face that makes me want to smile. Her laugh cheers up the room. Michelle always makes everybody feel welcome in her home.
My brother was my biggest influence. He is five years older, so it wasn’t the easiest task to grab his attention, but most of my young life was formed because of him. Growing up, I was always trying to learn new knowledge and talents to interact more with my brother. I took a deep interest in guitar and drawing, and building and innovation because it would connect us more. He influenced much of my determination and creative skills. I was always competing for his attention and praise, which is likely the reason I enjoy challenges and seek them out, as well. I think my father, despite how little he was around, influenced my work ethics, greatly. My sporadic weekends with him usually consisted of going to work with him. He worked for the city of Pahokee performing many different tasks: sweeping the streets, hauling away large items, cemetery grounds work, city waterworks; a lot of heavy machinery and vehicles. He was a dedicated worker; whatever he did, he did well! I was very impressed that this normally slow-person could be so mechanically inclined and proficient. So, I learned from him, to take pride in anything and everything that I do; no matter how small or large the task is.
When asked who was the most influential person in my life without any hesitation I knew it was my father. My father has impacted my life greatly and has helped me become the person I am today. He has helped me in many ways; he pushes me to be the best, he is always there for me, and he possesses good qualities that I try to obtain.
Growing up, my father and brother, Jacob, influenced me the most. My dad came home from a two week trip, driving his semi-truck, with music that would change my life. He played the music for me and Jacob and we both fell into it. My dad started to listen to more and more music such as Bullet For My Valentine, Slipknot, and Breaking Benjamin. We were raised on those lyrics and my father taught me to be the person I am today with those songs.
Throughout my entire life, I have had the privilege to meet many influential individuals. Some of these individuals have been family, friends, and other individuals. So far, I have only met three very important people. In the beginning, my parents were my first influences. They had taught me to be honest, hard working and responsible. Coming from Mexico at a late age, both my parents were never able to go to school and receive and education. Because of that, they had always encouraged and pushed all their kids to do good and school and become someone.
Who has been a influence to you? Mom, dad, or anyone in your life? Well, there always that someone or person who has or had influenced you or even changed your life during you past years in your life. My influence is my one and only father. My father has influenced me in so many ways that has actually changed my life. The main three ways were for me to keep on task, keep safe and stay out of drugs and, and mostly, to believe in yourself.
Influence? Why is it that the people who influence us most influence us in ways that are not easily quantified? Through her work with abused children, my mother has shown me the heroism of selfless dedication to a worthy cause. By being an upstanding individual, my playwriting teacher in middle school acted as an inspiring male role model at a time when I needed one most. By being approachable and interesting, my World History teacher in my freshman year of high school opened my eyes to the connections between a society 's culture and its history and broadened my view of cultures and the world. While these influences mean much to me and have contributed greatly to my development, they came too easily to mind.
1. Who are the most influential people in your life? Tough question to answer as there have been so many. The obvious of course would be my mother, wife, and daughter. But educationally, two people really come to mind. One was my microbiology professor, a very small in stature woman from the Philippines, who gave her entire lecture series, start to finish, over an entire semester, without ever looking at a note. Not once. She would have been my mentor for my master’s degree had I not change course to dental school. The other is a clinical instructor at the univ.of Detroit dental school, dr. Benjamin Leone. One of the toughest instructors we had in dental school. Getting an a from him was next to impossible. But he taught us more, made us do our work to the highest standard, than most others.
