“Sounds Good Feels Good” is 5 Seconds of Summer’s second studio album and was released on October 23, 2015. It was released by Capital Records. The album has a total of 17 tracks. Their Extend Plays or Eps, include: “Unplugged”, “Somewhere New”, “She Looks so Perfect”, “Don’t Stop”, “Amnesia”, and “She’s Kinda Hot”. This album goes deeper than “5 Seconds of Summer”, their first full length album. This album describes some of the things young people have to deal with such as divorce and depression. “Broken Home” is from a child’s point of view when their parents are always fighting. “Castaway” is about feeling lonely and all alone. “One song on the album “Hey Everybody” sounds so much like “Hungry Like the Wolf” that Duran Duran got a writing …show more content…

They were first noticed by their covers they posted on YouTube. The band is made up of four members: Luke Hemmings, who plays guitar, Calum Hood, who plays bass guitar, Ashton Irwin, who plays drums, and Michael Clifford, who plays guitar. The band influences include Green Day, All Time Low, and Busted. The band has gone one 10 tours so far starting with the Mini Australian Tour in 2012 and ending with the Sounds Good Feels Good Live Tour in 2016. 5 Seconds of Summer has opened for Hot Chelle Rae once and One Direction three times. Their awards include New Artist of the Year, Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Fandom, Best Breakthrough, Breakout Star, Best Single, and International Revelation. They were nominated, but did not win: Best Group, International Group, Top New Artist, Top Duo/ Group, Best Pop Release, Breakthrough Artist, Pop Work of the Year and, Most Played Australian Work. Their previous album “5 Seconds of Summer” was released June 22, 2014 (In the United States). The album has a total of 16 tracks, however some tracks are only available when you buy the Target exclusive. It also sold a Japan exclusive with bonus tracks.
