For the third one is a book of introduction of Astronomy, while the last one is a professional source for solar system. All of these resource are written by experts, but not all of them can be cited as an academic source in a research paper. The UPI (United Press International) Space Daily has published a news on August 30th, 2006, called “Pluto No Longer a Planet”. This news redefined the Pluto as a dwarf planet. As one of the most well-known international news agency, UPI provided news, photo and film to thousands of newspapers, television stations and other media. Although I find nothing about the writer, the authority should not be doubted. In the article, writer mentioned about the new definition about the planet, why the Pluto is not meet the requirement anymore. Most important, the article included the discussion of the scientists and quoted exactly the same word they use. Moreover, the time of publication was just after the IAU (International Astronomical Union) officially defining the Pluto as a dwarf planet, which means this news should keep the most accurate information at that time. Many issues have arisen from the debate whether or not Pluto is a planet. Some astronomers say that Pluto should be classified as a “minor planet” due to its size, physical characteristics, and other factors. On the other hand, some astronomers defend Pluto’s planet status, citing several key features.
Going back to the criteria the three pieces of criteria it needs to meet are, the object must orbit the sun, the object must be a sphere and it must be created and maintained by its own gravitational force, and the object must have a clear path around its orbit of other objects. Pluto does orbit the sun. It does have a spherical shape, but Pluto’s path is not clear, it is crowded with lots of other objects. That proves that Pluto is not a planet because, it only meets two of the three criteria pieces.There are rocks in outer space that are the same size as Pluto! That’s pretty small to be considered a planet. If you look at a comparison of the other planets and Pluto you will see the drastic difference. Pluto is just simply too puny to be a planet. Many people say that it should be continued to be thought of as a planet because it has been that way for a long time and that's how most people know Pluto as, a planet. Neil DeGrasse Tyson’s dwarf book is much like Pluto: It’s got plenty of interesting facts however it is mostly appreciated for the illustrations. Dr. Tyson’s new book, the publication is a space nonfiction of Pluto’s fall from planethood. Dr. Tyson wrote this book to explore the reasons why Pluto was demoted from the status of being a planet and all of the history behind the discovery. Also, due to his vast interest in Astronomy, Dr.Tyson was influenced to write The Pluto Files.

Pluto last crossed inside Neptune's orbit on February 7, 1979, and temporarily became the 8th planet from the Sun.

As i was growing up all my science teachers will always say that there was 9 planets in our solar system. But as time went by, little by little the 9 planets started fading, now in days there still debating whether considering Pluto a planet or not. According to scientists, pluto does not meet the standards that fall under the category to be a “planet”. Pluto has many features that they considered to be a dwarf planet like: its large distance from the sun, that it doesn't have its own orbit, its temperature is extremely cold, all these facts are the reason why many people are still debating pluto's status. With the help of other astronomers he was able to confirm that he had discovered the planet and later went on to publicly announce that he had made the discovery of Pluto on March 13, 1930.
The discussion was more of a debate since some students agreed on Pluto being a planet while others did not. It seems that humans can’t agree on things unless we have more evidence, then we will know how Pluto might be classified.
