South Oaks Gambling Screen The South Oaks Gambling Screen (SOGS) is a screening tool often used for compulsive gambling. The SOGS is a 16-item screening tool, which includes three different categories, such as no problem, some problem, and probable pathological gambler. Essentially, the instructions direct test takers to mark either not at all, less than once a work, or once a week or more for the first item. After this, test takers are prompted to answer questions and statements concerning gambling. As I took the SOGS, I experienced both negative and positive reactions. Mostly, my reactions were positive. I felt pretty calm and at ease while I was taking this screening tool. The questions and statements were quite straightforward
