A South Park Odyssey 1 It all began as a normal Friday at South Park Elementary. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Children were learning new things and playing out on the playground under the sun, and like always Eric was getting himself into trouble. It was a near perfect day in every aspect, so our hero, Kyle Broflovski, and his friends had no reason to suspect the chain of events that would begin to unfold on that day. Kyle had been sitting on his bike waiting for his brother, Ike, in front of the school when he saw his brother standing by the bike rack crying. They all spread out and began to search the area for a cave. Kyle soon spotted a cave back in the woods. “Guys, look. I think I found it,” he shouted. All the others hurried over to where he was standing. “Aw, sweet cave!” said Cartman. They walked over to the cave and saw that there was a sleeping dog tied up in the mouth of the cave blocking half of the entrance. Ike’s bike was visible sitting a little deeper in the cave. “There it is,” said Cartman excitedly. “Go get it Kenny,” he yelled nudging Kenny ahead. Kenny carefully approached the mouth of the cave. He was slowly moving into the mouth of the cave when the dog suddenly woke up and jumped on him. Kenny turned to fight it off, but the force of the dog pushed him backwards and into a gaping hole in the ground that none of the boys had noticed before. “Oh my god, they killed Kenny!” cried Stan. “Darn it! We better leave before someone who matters gets hurt,” Cartman yelled. “Wow, really Eric,” Stan said flatly. “But I guess you’re right. We should just leave the bike, it’s not worth it.” “Not so fast,” Kyle said in a calming voice. “I think I could get to the bike as long as I make sure that the dog can’t reach
