Safety Town. (113 words) Did they have one where you live? Here our children attended Safety Town in preparation for kindergarten, that first step on the path of public education. They learned about stop signs, traffic lights, and to look left and right before crossing the street. They learned to memorize their home address and home phone number. I am reminded of this last bit with every piece of mail that still arrives with his name on it; and with every Amy, Jennifer, and Michelle that still phones here asking for him. I am reminded of Safety Town and the lessons it taught him. He still knows his home address and phone number but where is he?

My wife and I are planning a trip to Las Vegas the week of March 27th to look for homes. Since our last conversation, we have been casually searching for listings to gather a sense of the type of properties and areas we would like to live in. In addition, we researched schools within the areas where we would like to live. My wife and I have some questions as to what we should be doing now to prepare for a productive visit of viewing potential homes. Please see below...
What would you do if you found out that the exact government that feeds you and handles all economic decisions somehow has the power to alter your perception on real life events to make you believe something that isn’t true? Safety is a tremendous issue on college campuses, and additional procedures need to be taken to prevent crimes from happening. When walking onto a college campus as a young adult, people get a rush of the unknown. The unknown could be going to college parties and late night study groups. College should be like any high school or elementary school and have better security measures to protect their students. The reasons we need these extra steps are to prevent violence, give students a sense of security, and monitor visitors on campus.
