The highest speed related fatality was recorded in the year 2012. This is because the 354 was the highest ever recorded in a single year. There was a slight increase from 2006 to 2007 but then speed related fatalities slightly decreased in 2008. From 2008 to 2010, speeding fatalities were on the rise until it dropped in 2011. Shortly after launch there were various mechanical difficulties.
