Sports Injury’s By: Debbie Bryan {draw:frame} In this paper you will understand how in the different sport you can have different injury’s relating to the different sports. Like in basketball you will see more knee and ankle injuries. I will show how doing different things wrong will cause you to get hurt. You have different types of injuries for the different sports. I feel you can take the right measures to make sure you have a safe sport career by taking the right steps to keeping yourself safe. This is some of the things you could do to help. The sensation of the face is supplied mainly by the 3 branches of the trigeminal nerve (ophthalmic [V1], maxillary [V2], mandibular [V3]). The muscles of mastication that control the opening and closing of the jaw are also innervated by the motor division of the trigeminal nerve. The muscles of facial expression are innervated by the 5 branches of the facial nerve (frontal, zygomatic, buccal, marginal mandibular, and cervical). Lots of people can get hurt just walking out of their house, but Doctors see a lot of sport related injury’s over the years. We just have to find ways to help stop all the injuries. Wear helmets for contact sports and when doing activities like biking and in-line skating to prevent head injuries. Neck injuries are among the most dangerous. You can hurt your neck through a sudden traumatic injury in sports like mountain climbing, skydiving, horseback riding, gymnastics, diving, rugby, judo, or boxing. When you are playing basketball you can get hurt real bad. You can get slammed into the wall and hurt your head, neck or knee. You could get hurt going in for a layup.
