“Audiences today want a real experience in their live performance, because they can get great script based entertainment at home, through various new media sources. Traditional theatre, which appeals on a mental, and hopefully also emotional level, has not been enough to compete with other media, and audiences have been declining. Physical theatre, by contrast appeals to the audience on a physical and emotional level, providing a much more immediate experience than traditional theatre” ~ (Artmedia Publishing in Zen Zen Zo’s “The Tempest” Teacher’s Notes)
Richard Wright's Native Son provides us with an exemplary example of the way the black race was conditioned in the 1930's. He does this by telling us about an adult black male named Bigger Thomas. Wright titles each book in the novel the way he does to give insight into the various actions and feelings of Bigger.

If I could be in a TV show or movie I would trust me. As far as stage place and other productions not interested. The fine art concert I went to was an amazing experience. I was always part of a fine art concert and been participating since elementary school through High School. Attending the college version of fine art was different. It was an eye opening movement. All the talented students coming to together and presenting their talents. The two different high schooners Northwest and Lumen Christi presented. While lumen Christi performed six songs and Northwest High School performed two. The students had a brilliantly talented that they showed off in front of hundreds of people. Which is pretty encouraging and breath taking.

The lack of flood management measures and adequate conveyance capacity of the existing drainage system regularly caused flooding in the heavily urbanized areas. Streams Tech personnel installed hydro-meteorological equipment to collect data; processed an extensive array of satellite-based rainfall, topographic, and collected data in GIS; and expeditiously developed stormwater models using GeoSWMM and XPSWMM for the 50 square mile area. We assessed different flood control options, including cascaded detention ponds, lot-level storage facilities, restoration of natural watercourses, changes to land use planning, replacement of bridges and culverts, and relocation of settlements in the floodplains, and recommended effective measures to mitigate the flood risks.
The set used for Vernon God Little was highly symbolic and simplistic; when we walked into the theatre we could visually see that there were flowers, cards and memorable items attached on the audiences seats above our heads, which already created a sombre atmosphere around the theatre.

With more tourist taking huge interest in cultural and indigenous/ aboriginal tourism, many places are trying to stage authenticity. Staged authenticity is when a host community take something such as a person, place or thing and recreate it into something that can reflect the traditional values and customs of the locals. In a simpler term, it means the staging of local culture to create the impression of authenticity for a tourist

Have you ever wanted a class that you can go to anytime you want? A class where all you have to do is log hours, do your quizzes, and do 2 papers? A class where you learn to use different tools? Well in the applied option for theater appreciation that is exactly what it is. During my time logging hours I meet new people. Sometimes there was nothing for us to do. Most of the time we were real busy around the time we had to put on shows or an event. There was 2 shows, the Murder Mystery and Twelfth Night, and one event, Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF). I helped with all 3. One of the tools we learned to use is the drill. The drill is one of the most used tools. To use the drill you have to put pressure on it when either
There are so many things I love about each of the theorist that it is hard to narrow it down. Depending on the age group of my students would determine which theorist I used more. If I was teaching strictly infants I would use Erikson’s stage theory much more than say in a toddler or preschool classroom. If I had to pick I would say that the two theorists that I identified with the most are Vygotsky and Piaget. I love that Vygotsky theory that children learn more when in groups. I also love his idea of scaffolding which gives children the opportunity to advance by adjusting the level of support needed. The reason I love Piaget is his theory that children learn best by exploring and learning hands on. Because Vygotsky believed in everything
