The Point Arena mountain beaver (Aplodontia rufa nigra) is a federally listed endangered subspecies that is restricted to the small area of Point Arena, in coastal Mendocino County, California (Zielinski, et al., 2013). (See Figure 1). The Point Arena mountain beaver is a dark brown, medium-sized burrowing rodent with small ears and eyes, and long whiskers and claws (National Park Service (NPS), n.d.). The subspecies is semi-fossorial, spending most of its five to six year lifespan in underground burrows (United States Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS), 2011). The burrows are typically found on moist and steep north-facing slopes or in well-drained gullies; each burrow contains separate chambers for food storage, nesting, and excrement (NPS,
My favorite restaurant that I enjoy eating at is Golden Corral. The ambiance may be loud because it’s a family restaurant but it also clean and relaxing and I just enjoy myself when I visit their premise. Golden Corral is a casual restaurant, that you can choose to eat in or eat out and you can order off the menu or the buffet tables. On the buffet table they have prime ribs, steak, bake or fried fish, greens, mac & cheese, corn on the cob, salads, cakes, pies, chocolate fountain, and ice cream and much more. Everything that they serve is delicious and affordable. The employees are very nice, polite and well dress in their position of their job. When you walk in it may be loud, only because it’s a family restaurant and everyone is enjoying
The place I chose for the field trip proposal is Epcot theme park. I chose this place because of its diverse culture exhibits. Some reasons I picked this place are, they have many culture experience's, you can explore different culture in one day, and it a good place to taste the different foods and music across the world. It ties into humanity because it explores different countries that have impacted our society from the food to the music, to even our architecture. It also shows us the diverse countries and some of its history.
The Alamo, in San Antonio Texas, is a crucial piece of the history of Texas. It was originally a Franciscan mission built by Spanish settlers around 1718. Its purpose was to be a home for Spanish missionaries and new Native American converts. During Texas’ war for independence from Mexico, the Texans seized the former mission and set up a military base there. Mere months later, the Mexicans attacked the Texans at the Alamo in order to attempt to regain control of this military base. Although the Mexicans vastly outnumbered the Texans, the Texans were able to suppress them for thirteen days, when the Mexicans finally overpowered the Texans. Although the Mexicans tried to destroy the Alamo during their retreat, it is still in excellent condition
When you think of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, bull-riding, BBQ, concerts, carnival rides, deep fried Oreos and more come to mind. One thing the rodeo offers that we often forget? Scholarships.
Here are some reasons that the government should make Providence Canyon a national park. The first reason I think they should make it a national park is because it could help students learn more about it and it could help them in the future. Another reason is that people could go there to see the amazing sites and to be entertained. The last reason I think the government should make the Providence Canyon a national park is because it is very historical and it needs to be shown off to the world.
The world is full of incredible wrestling cities such as London, Philadelphia, New York, LA, Orlando and more. But nothing compares to the Windy City! With NXT Takeover and Backlash having took place in Chicago last week, it’s only fitting to write this.

As Scout and Jem walk home from the pageant they got attacked by Mr. Ewell. They screamed for help and the only person that heard them was Arthur (Boo) Radley. So he ran out to rescue their lives. This is the first time Mr.Radley left his house and the first time Scout saw him. To most people it was a mystery how Mr. Radley looked. When he was at Scout’s house he went to the farthest corner and the people there acted as if Mr. Radley was invisible.
You may have heard that “everything is bigger in Texas.” and if you really want to experience how everything is bigger, you go to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (HLSR). The HLSR, or “Houston Rodeo” as it is referred to by Houstonians, is the largest event of its kind in the world and has been in session since 1932. In 2013, The HLSR had more people in attendance (approx 2.6 million) at the Rodeo than the entire population of the city of Houston (approx 2.1 million), which happens to be the 4th largest city in the United States as well as the most populated city in the state of Texas. The HLSR is held at Reliant Park for three weeks during March, and since parking is always a hassle, Reliant Park also happens to have one of the largest parking lots available as well.

Muscatine, Iowa, do not build a dog park! Building a dog park would endanger the lives of your people living in the city. Pets are their owner's responsibility and dogs are loud. A dog park would drive home owners away.
