Standardized Tests Determine How Smart A Student's Knowledge?

I think that one standardized test cannot determine how smart a student is or how well a school is doing. One test can simply not show how smart a student is because one test is not a accurate representation of the student’s knowledge. One test cannot judge the smartness of a student as there are many reasons due to which one test is not a accurate representation of a student's knowledge. Students may be doing good through the semester but may perform poorly on standardized tests. Standardized tests are often weighed more so students know that this test can drastically affect their average if they get a low mark and this causes stress on the minds of the studnets. When students have stress, they often cannot think or remember the material they learned. Some teachers don’t teach properly which leads to sutdents perfoming poorly on the standardiezed tests becuase they did not learn the material. Students often have other issues in which they are stressed or not able to study. Family issues or mental and physical fitness issues can affect the students mind which leads them to not study. When many student gets a bad marks on a standardized test, then that shows that a school is not doing well but that is not the school’s fault. Many students don’t want to learn and never study. They fail standardizing tests thus giving a bad reputation to the school. The teachers do their part, the school does their part but the students don’t do their part but it is depicted as the School’s fault. Many students perform poorly on the tests but they have many reasons too such as Family issues, illnesses and stress. In these cases, it’s not the studnets fault that they performed poorly but it shouldn/t be depicted as the shcool’s fault either. Many reasons give poor results but this should not determine how well a school is doing becuase the school is doing their part the best they
