Often times, many forget to be kind to one another. When we are performing out our daily activities we forget to think about other people. Individuals can be naturally selfish or self- centered. There are multiple obstacles working against our being kind to one another. Our own success being one of them. We must remember to put ourselves in the shoes of the other person, in order to understand the issues in front of us. It is not easy to become detached ourselves from how we usually are nor how we are born, but it is imperative that we try to ensure a brighter future.

    Integrity it is not just performing an act of kindness, but the morals you stand behind when you do do the act. Kindness and peace of mind is easier than most people think it is. There various ways to be happy and to be kind but why does it matter. In the 2005 Kenyon College Commencement Speech by David Foster Wallace, David Foster tries to make his audience to realize that the most obvious facts about life are generally right in front of our faces. David Foster gives his audience an ironic story about two fish swimming by until another fish comes up and says "Morning boys, how's the water?" It isn't after a while that they stop and ask themselves, "what the heck is water". I believe that being different and unique lets a person be themselves and lead to a happy life. Standing for what you believe is difficult but if you have pride and determination it could be something easy and it can help you feel better from the inside like how Martin Luther King did.
