I also want to apologize for the disgrace I may have placed upon myself as a University of Florida student, your hardworking and dedicated employees and staff, as well as the legacy of the University of Florida our past ancestors have fought so hard to uphold. I am a strong believer that an individual can change for the better in any situation. The individual, being myself, am aware of my actions and wrong doings, despite the outcome, out of respect I will acknowledge every single individual that I have negatively impacted along the way. I have created a plan to ensure that I never find myself in this situation or any other similar again. Once again, please consider this letter as a token of complete honesty as I hope this alters the sanction of expulsion that has been placed upon me. I am willing to fight, dedicate, and rebuild the opportunity that is being stripped from my hands. I need with every bone in my body to graduate from the University of Florida and continue on to become more educated, eventually fulfilling my ultimate aspiration of becoming a doctor. I would like to offer my humble and sincere apologies for lying and cheating. I know that Mary Baldwin College has zero tolerance for academic dishonesty. In my determination to obtain recognition and a good grade, I lost sight of the actuality that these things are earned and not freely given. Although I wish I could respond that this was an unintentional error on my part, I understood at the time that what I was doing was wrong. Afterwards, I did not have the courage to tell the truth and continued to cover up for cheating by lying and took no action to rectify the record in the time after I did it.

As a 2017 graduate of Polo Community High School, it is my pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for my principal Mr. Faivre. Our relationship stretches back to when I was just a sixth grader, as he was my principal for two years at the junior high before transferring to the high school. I wanted to make sure I didn't make you upset or make you feel uncomfortable and think I was asking for a grade bump. It's just that I have been panicking lately since I do need to make a 70 In the class to pass my high school course. I am not asking for extra credit since I am aware that you have given the class many chances for extra credit and it is my fault for not keeping myself in check with the way I was studying and I also know that the grade I get is the grade I deserve. AP English Language and Composition is the most challenging class I had ever taken, and I’m grateful that I had you as my teacher. Before your class, English was never a challenge for me, and since I was subpar in other subjects, such as science and math, I viewed English as my only redeeming quality as a student. After your class, I realized that English was not “my” subject either. While I struggled with meeting the standards, I appreciate your patience and willingness to stay after school to review my essays with me.         I hope this email finds you well. I firstly want to thank you for showing concern for my absence. I know that you are always busy, such as teachers are, but you have to give me a chance to help me get a good grade in your class. I believe, as a student, that there are lots of struggles to keep my grade up, such as keeping up with homework, especially from other classes, and work and sleep. As a student, I believe you should help me out by adding just 10 points to my grade, to help me succeed.

I am writing you to persuade you boost up my grade up to and extra ten points. I realize that what i’m doing now currently isn't working, but I am trying my best in your class. Next semester will be much better I promise, because I will work hard on not talking and my smart mouth of mine. What can I do to achieve an extra ten points on my semester grade. The reason why I am writing this letter to you, is for you to understand why I believe I deserve an extra 10 points towards my semester grade average.I was doing very well when school first started, but more an more harder assignments keep coming right after another. I am not to good at English as it is an, when I ask for help I don't believe I get the kind of help I get from my other teachers when i don't understand something. When I want to or need to keep working on the assignment because I didn't understand it quite well I don't have enough time because it's on to the next and if I put the next assignment on hold I fall behind so much. I just wanted to say thank you for making the quiz grade change. It may seem like a minor thing, yet the improvement to A- meant a lot to me. On a separate note, I was not in class Thursday because of a Mock Trial competition, but I did manage to show you the story arc after class. I am writing to you in hopes that you will add an extra ten points to my semester grade. I strongly believe that I deserve these extra points, for putting my hard work and effort into this first semester. With all the different assignments and short amount of time you have given my classmates and I, most of us tend to or try to turn it in on time maybe a little later depending on the assign work.

I would be very grateful if you would bump my Language Arts grade. We both know that I have been working hard in that class. For example, I took about an hour and a half trying perfect one of my papers. You said yourself, that my writing was good. I promise that if you bump me up, I will put work in my projects and turn them in on time for the rest of the year. I would rather have an A- than a B+. It means a lot to me. Please change my grade?
