Five-time NBA All-Star Chauncey Ray Billups’ No.1 will sway from the Palace of Auburn Hills rafters for all time.
The three-time NBA champions Detroit Pistons have announced on Tuesday that the 2013 NBA Teammate of the Year Billups’ jersey will be retired on Wednesday before the Piston’s game against the visiting Denver Nuggets, which Mr.Big Shot used to play after being traded by the Pistons in November 2008.
Billups started his NBA career as a journeyman, fitting in four different ballclubs in the first five season of his 17 professional basketball career in the league.
