Choosing a right Graduate program in this competitive global educational environment can be a challenging endeavor. There are three main factors namely: Curriculum, Location and diversity of the student body that played a major role in my decision to choose Hertie School of Governance.
My long-term career goal is to start a Foundation that is geared towards impact investing in Education, Healthcare and various Socio-Economic sectors of developing countries. However, due to limited resources, innovation, improvisation and creativity are the skills that will be needed for Social Finance to succeed. In this light, I believe, Hertie School of Governance will provide me with ample challenges and exposure to hone my intellectual and analytical repertoire. Moreover, Hertie School of Governance has the option to choose a specialization-Finance and Trade- in MIA program and the school also has a heterogeneous mix of electives. This allows me to tailor the program specifically towards my career objectives-a feature that is difficult to find in most Graduate Program.
