The school is all about having a group of motivated students that want to find betters way to do things. My aspirations are very similar and I cannot find a better place to continue my education. With a strong base in engineering and various STEM fields, there is a wide variety of interesting subjects that I would want to pursue at Georgia Tech. Georgia Tech focuses on fostering innovation towards the greater good and solving problems that would positively impact large groups of people and make the world a better place overall. This is exactly what I am looking to do and that’s why I am interested in attending a school whose goals are aligned with my own.
My attention was to search about universities and the opportunities they provide for their students. I looked for college that makes me feel part of a something big and not about me graduating from the university. After researching on a couple of colleges, I chose Texas A&M as my top university to enroll in the coming fall semester. I have always had an interest in engineering majors, especially chemical engineering, because of laboratory experiments and learning about new chemicals. I have always been waiting for the day I could become a senior to be able to apply to the university I had always dreamed of enrolling. Chemical engineering brings out one's critical thinking and problem solving skills. Texas A&M University is the best university
The diversity of NC State would benefit me by allowing me to experience new relationships and skills. I learn and develop through my experiences, and the mixture of the campus, culture, and nearby cities would give me that growth. These new opportunities
Acting is a way of escaping the world we live in. Acting will help me escape my own world. Wayland Baptist University, Home of the Pioneers will help me in my future acting career and will help me with scriptwriting.
Education is a very important aspect to many people. For me, getting a well-rounded education will help me reach my lifetime goal of being happy and bringing that happiness to people by helping them. The spark of motivation came in a very unusual way. It happened when taking the mandatory Chemistry class sophomore year of high school. This class was interesting and eye-opening to me because it provided a different look on life. I knew after completing the class that I wanted to pursue a career in the medical and science field. Texas A&M University is my top choice school because I know that attending this school will give me the best education and it will also help me reach my goals in the future.
Over the years, I had heard about Wake Forest simply from living in North Carolina, from hearing about their sports teams, and from knowing several people who attended Wake Forest. As I began my college search throughout high school, looking for a college that fit what I was looking for, I kept running into Wake Forest. I decided that I really wanted to apply to Wake Forest because, after looking into the school more and talking to some friends that currently attend, it seemed exactly like the college that I would love and be honored to go to. Wake Forest has impressed me with its academics, its campus and community, and its small and personal learning environment. Getting an education and spending a few very important years of my life at Wake
There are many reasons I picked Hutchinson Community College to attend this semester. The first reason was for sports. During my senior year of high school, I thought to myself that I do not want to be lazy and do nothing at school. Therefore I decided to go back into cheerleading. One of the Hutchinson Community College cheer coaches showed interest in me. However, I was undecided on which college I wanted to go to until a cheer recruiter came to me. Which comes to my next reason why I picked Hutchinson for schooling. Hutchinson Community College was a good choice for me because of my major and a good education. The teachers at Hutchinson Community College are good at their teaching. Hutchinson Community College had all my classes I needed
The Daily Nebraskan seems like an incredible way to engage the UNL student body in current topics regarding the university, the country, and the world. During my senior year, I worked for a short span of time at my high school paper, ‘Imua Iolani. I always regretted not joining ‘Imua earlier. Of course, my motives for wanting to work at The DN now seem selfish, and I admit it--they are. But in addition to expanding my own life experiences, I want to help expand the lives of UNL students by reporting information and telling stories.
My uppermost three colleges I’m interested in are: Itawamba Community College, Mississippi State University, Northeast Mississippi Community College. I chose ICC to be in the band and to be close to home. Socially this college will be great for me because there are many different ways to be active on campus, and many people that I am friends with have attended there or are going to go there. Academically ICC is fantastic because it has small class sizes, so I can get more help if needed. Financially this is one of the cheapest junior colleges there are. Even though ICC is one of the cheapest community colleges in the nation, it is also one of the most successful. The students that graduate from there are more than likely to succeed than not.
Transferring to a four year school has never been a question for me, it is and always has been, a non negotiable expectation I have for myself. I am currently attending Mohawk Valley Community College, a two year school which I will be graduating from in December, after only three semesters, with an associates degree in International Studies. I chose a community college initially because I was unsure as to which field I wanted to major in. Before I made my decision however, I was presented with the idea that I should save money and go to a community college where I could change and explore different majors without any serious financial repercussions. This turned out to be the best decision I could have made at the time, as not only have
Attending Gulf Coast Charter School has been something that I have wanted to do since my family moved down to Spring Hill, Florida. I have always enjoyed math and science. The chance to learn hands on is something that I feel would make learning even better. Working on group projects and as a team is what I would like to do more of. Gulf Coast Charter School will give me a chance to go to school with others that like math and science.
“Education is the foundation upon which we build our future.” This quote was said by Christine Gregoire, and never were truer words ever spoken. It is my personal belief that the education I can receive at Montclair State University can be the starting point to which my career in the arts can prosper. I have heard many people, from alumni to friends of alumni, talk in high regards about the theatrical program at MSU. Some say that it was the best training they ever received, and others say that their friends who went to MSU were able to be consistent working actors due to their training. It is my ultimate goal to take advantage of the amazing resources at MSU if I’m able to make it in the Music Theatre program. I
I would like to briefly go over my high school situation, school accomplishments, and some of the qualities I feel that I have, to hopefully clarify and enhance my application. The high school that I have been to for the past three years is called Tuacahn High School for the Performing Arts. Because of its smaller size, there isn’t a large variety of classes similar to what you would find in an average public high school. This made it impossible for me to enroll in AP or IB classes. Also, the school only had a couple concurrent enrollment classes we could take without going to the local university. While the school lacked these types of certified classes, they still offered many good honors classes, and performing arts based classes in which
As an aspiring high school student I must broaden my knowledge to the community which I may reside in the mere future. Which is why I decided Montclair State University is the right choice for me. Montclair University possesses the ability to both educate me academically and culturally to the world around me. Through its large and diverse community I would be able to expose myself to something new and unique everyday. To climb to a higher level of enrichment, all I must do is walk out the front door and speak with the thousands of people from all over the world who are enrolled to the university. The campus also hosts hundreds of classes, programs, and events which can help educate me and steer me down a path of understanding and acceptance.
