Another major component of successful wealth management is the human touch. Clients respond to charismatic guidance and a high level of attention; they feel valued when their questions are addressed promptly and personally. I have a passion for the financial markets and an overall interest in eating, sleeping and breathing this business. Moreover, I enjoy working with people and am good at communicating my ideas in a coherent and persuasive manner.

Financial Management Accounting has been developing since the evolution of International Financial Reporting Standards. The significance of highly qualified management accountants is crucial for public and private enterprises, developing countries, startups, and others. Personally, I have chosen Oulu University and Financial Management Accounting due to several reasons that are based on my experience and motivation. I am a competent candidate for applying to study in Financial Management Accounting Master's Degree program at Oulu University.

I am a hardworking, outgoing and self-motivated high school student. The program I have applied for is business accounting. I am convinced that I possess a unique blend of skills that will enable me to successfully complete this program. To begin with, I am quite comfortable working with figures. I regard my love for figures to have come by default. From a very young age my dad who happens to be a mathematics professor saw to it that I developed the necessary analytical capabilities through regular coaching. Hence I have over time developed great passion for analytical subjects including business accounting. I regard my being comfortable with figures an essential skill that will help me succeed in this particular program. Further, I have also been an avid reader of financial magazines and journals. In that regard, I possess significant knowledge on the workings of business. This I will combine with my liking for figures to enhance my chances of success in this particular program.

Ever since elementary school, I have been a big fan of engineering. My inspiration came from the likes of Graham Bell and Albert Einstein with the invention of the telephone and the mass-energy equivalence equation, respectively. With the aim to join them in the wall of fame, I participated actively in my science and math classes, and clubs related to the field. As I grew older and had the fortunate chance of working at various retail stores, I began to develop an interest in business and how it worked. It was only a matter of time before this interest was strengthened and I began contemplating whether to major in engineering or business. This unfortunately left me indecisive in my choice of major for a while in college. But after a visit to a Texas A and M prospective student center, I was informed about the Industrial Distribution program and at that moment, I was certain of what I wanted to study.

My interest toward financial engineering emerged when I am studying statistic and mathematic as an undergraduate student in the Michigan State University. Michigan State University offers me a great chance to explore and learn the systemic knowledge of Statistic and mathematic. I have put my heart into many different pursuits, during my undergraduate years; it is through this two of experiences that I have come to realize my life’s ambition. Research and projects has made me appreciate the rigors of the database process, and in the mean time, the result became a surprise for programming that could change the way that we calculate; a summer in investment company made my realize that trade is my true passion and inspiration.

The benefits and opportunities to embrace engineering far outweigh the difficulties in the process, but despite this, my pure love for mathematics has been the major contributor to my ambitions. From a young age, I found math incredibly enjoyable. The order and consistency found through something as simple as the order of operations served as a driving force to my curiosity and dedication to the subject. As the mathematical concepts intensified, I was able to adequately keep up and enjoy the journey along the way. While signing up for my senior year classes, the decision to take calculus was made easily. While speaking with the instructor, Yvonne Sebastian, I discovered that her love for math was derived from similar feelings. In an interview with Sebastian, she stated, “Math is a beautiful thing. Numbers are incredibly simple, but they can be used to calculate very complex scenarios. No matter how difficult a problem may seem, there is always a solution, an answer that can be found and understood through the power of math” (Y. Sebastian, personal communication, February 14, 2017). Interacting with a teacher who understood to a great level of degree my similar feelings regarding math has been an incredible motivator in my desire to pursue a career which incorporates mathematics frequently.
