Last year, I entered my first year in a U.S. High School, as a Junior. Despite a learning curve, I overcame all obstacles to maintain a 4.0 GPA. For this, I was recently awarded a letter of recognition for academic excellence. This is the highest academic achievement that Lambert High School awards to its students. Not only did I possess academic excellence in my core classes, but I also succeeded in my AP Art class. My Junior year presented a challenge, especially in Math and Science; however, I balanced this with my love of Art which allowed me to show my creativity. As a Senior, I have continued to maintain A’s during my first semester and will continue to strive during my second semester. I am highly motivated to prove that as an individual

A lot of people set a challenge to improve. By setting a challenge, individuals work hard, asking for help and advice from experienced advisors. Challenges motivate people and keep them working hard. The most significant challenge I have faced was getting a full scholarship into the private school, American Heritage High School in Plantation. This challenge was crucial for me because I came to United States in the middle of sixth grade. I went to Falcon Cove Middle School, and the school placed me in regular classes within the ESOL program. The ESOL program is a program designed for foreign students who do not speak English well. I got out of the program once I passed the placement test to the Cambridge program. In middle school, I won a variety
I am a Second Generation African-American Student, and I’m proud to say that my eagerness to learn is one of the many reasons for my academic success. Now that my middle school years are slowly coming to an end, my eyes have been shifted to look forward to achieving greater academic things. As I am about to enter high school this year in August, I hope to be faced with many

A gold plaque glistened on the stage, written on it was “Straight A’s All Three Years of Junior High”. Attending the academic ceremony as a 6th grader, I watched in awe as a few 8th-graders received this prestigious plaque.
