Framingham State University will prepare me for a productive life, enhance my learning and enhance my current leadership skills, intern this will contribute to my future once I graduate.An opportunity of this caliber would launch my learning and continue to ignite my passion for learning. I feel that all my experiences have lead me to find this school and get the most I can out of my time here if I get admitted.

Liberty is a based Christian University. Liberty University has Christian values. Liberty is one of the largest Christian University in the world. I chose Liberty University because I want a better future and I want to have a closer relationship with God. I want to grow spiritually and I like that Liberty University is a college based on religion. Their online programs are great and encouraging. Liberty has excellent academic programs. Their online programs are flexible and offer many degree programs to choose from online. The staff and faculty are friendly and care about your success. While I am focused on a career in science, I want to utilize the Stony Brook University Honors college to strengthen my current skills and expand my knowledge to create new perspectives. An interdisciplinary education will help me develop a comprehensive understanding of important issues as well as break down the barriers of academic isolation. In many schools, there is very little communication and collaboration across departments leaving them isolated in their perspectives. In many academic fields, particularly science, the knowledge gained in one subject often serves as a way to deepen the learning experience in another subject.

I intend to place myself to the most beneficial and constructive educational atmosphere that I can. To do that, I believe the structure of the environment should have good morals and a good wholesome support system. Middlesex community college has impacted me tremendously as a scholar and as a human being. Middlesex community college provides a friendly environment which encourages me and other students to be creative. I met new friends. I had the chance to help the community by volunteering through the student and engagement office. Most important I had the chance to express myself and sharing my experience and story as a human being. The faculty, staff, and counselors are extremely helpful. They work with us to make our goals are achievable. I glad that I did the decision in attending Middlesex community college.

At this point in my college career, I have reached the limit as to what the Miami-Dade Honors College can offer me. So far I have pursued an Associate in Arts degree in Biology and am looking forward to the next step in my education. My experiences here have allowed me to grow heavily both as a student and an individual, but I am limited in the amount of resources currently available to me. For example, I do not have the variety of courses and study abroad opportunities that four-year college students have. Hence, I have taken all the science and math courses towards my associates degree at Miami-Dade College, but I am left to explore other options to continue to advance my preparation for a career in the science field. In the next five years I will graduate from Berklee College of Music. From there, I plan to tour and also work as a studio musician, because not only will it allow me to add to my repertoire but it will make me a much more marketable and preferred musician. After solely touring for a few years, I would also like to return to college to obtain a degree in music education, providing me with the opportunity to return to teach at my high school, the Milton Hershey School.

Everyone has his own definition of success. For some, success means wealth, power or fame; but for me it means attaining my goals, always giving my best and knowing that I have tried my hardest despite the outcome. Success is not something that reveals itself immediately, it takes time and patience. I would not be the person I am today if I hadn’t received the love and support given to me by my mom and my grandparents. They taught me respect, the importance of family and to believe in myself. Success is about living my best life and being confident about my own decisions.

I believe that the mission of providing an excellent education for all students is one that is perfectly aligned with my past and future. Growing up I in a lower socioeconomic environment in Dallas, Texas I became the first person in my family to go and finish college. After obtaining my Bachelor in Psychology, I then became the first person in my family to go to graduate school. YES Prep believes that there is a transformative academic and social benefit for students when their teachers and leaders reflect a diversity of backgrounds and I believe that I can do just that. Prior to our recent move to Oregon, I had become quite comfortable with life in Northern New York and had applied for Empire State College as an important part of my future education. When looking into colleges to continue my education, SUNY Empire State College seemed to shine brighter than the rest. I had initially come across the Military Times Magazine and noticed that SUNY Empire State College had been recognized as “Best for Vets” for the past five years. In speaking and hearing the positive experiences of Soldiers who are current students or alumni, my interest deepened. Ultimately, I enrolled and I hope to continue in advancing my career as a History teacher through studies at SUNY Empire State College.

I am interested in attending Regent University, because I intend to major in communications with a concentration in journalism. Upon graduating, I plan to become a freelance journalist/documentary filmmaker, preferably in developing countries. Regent University serves as an excellent venue for me to achieve this goal within the framework of strong Christian values.

Life is full of decisions. You have the choice to decide what you want to do for a career. Some may have jobs they wish they could change or made the decision before to have done something differently. The career you choose should be something you love, along with aspects that fit your values the best. Interest, skills, financially that you know you can excel in. A plan for life is important, so it’s best to know or have an idea on what you want to proceed in.

I would like to be part of the wonderful Georgetown College for a multitude of reasons: Being able to learn in the Intellectual community, being able to study at our Nation’s capital, being able learn and debate healthcare policy matters, being able to be in the topnotch premedical program that provides opportunities for clinical experience, research programs and community service activities.
