Tara Jones is a sixteen year old African American Baptist who lives in Alberdence County. She attends school and is considered a sophomore. She has two siblings, and older brother (Dan Jones), and a younger brother (Theo Jones). Tara does not know where her father is located, and has not been in contacted with his since she was five years old. Tara’s mother’s name is Sharon Jones and Tara has lived with her and her two brothers up until she was eleven years old. Tara considers her mother’s neighborhood as the “projects” and she worried about gang violence while living there. At the moment, Tara denies any consumption of alcohol or drugs when she ran away, she also denies any suicidal ideation. Tara left her mother’s home because she was forced to; because her mother did not believe her that she was being sexually abused by her older brother Dan. Tara resided with her Aunt Sally after leaving her mother’s home. Tara reported that the sexual abuse had occurred for three years, and her mother denies any of the sexual abuse to happen and told Tara to leave the home. Tara ran away from her aunt’s home when she was thirteen years old. She then became award of the state and was placed into a foster home. She ran away from this foster home and was placed into a second home that she also ran away from. She was placed at her last foster home where she lived for six months with Ms. Boot, before she ran away with her boyfriend.

Mission: To create a healthier future for children and woman throughout our global community by leading in patient care, education and research
I completed my service project working alongside Dawn McKee from the Centre County Women’s Resource Center. She, along with the director of the Children’s Advocacy Center, director of the Youth Service Bureau, a representative from Children and Youth Services, and a representative from YMCA of Centre County came together to organize an event for sexual assault and child abuse. They coordinated an event on the courthouse steps in Bellefonte where they recognized members in the community who were dedicated to preventing and spreading awareness of sexual assault and child abuse.
My education has equipped me with extensive, cutting-edge knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and prevention. Drawing on my expertise, in my new business I will work with clients, mostly women, to help make lifestyle changes and choose health-promoting ways that produce real and lasting results.
profession, communities, and in society” (para. 5). I want to continue to broaden my knowledge over the life of my career. I also believe in using this knowledge to positively impact others in all aspects of healthcare.
I intend to place myself to the most beneficial and constructive educational atmosphere that I can. To do that, I believe the structure of the environment should have good morals and a good wholesome support system. Not only do I think Central Baptist College would bloom with these characteristics, but the far reaching effects of the college's nature would encourage and assist in my personal walk of

Throughout these chapters, the reader’s are able to witness the growth of one woman’s idea. Through the many connections Ms. Burton made, she is able to find the economic support needed for her organization to thrive and help as many women as possible. Donations started pouring in from millionaire Mr. Forstmann to receiving multiple truckloads per week from Bed Bath & Beyond; support for A New Way of Life was growing.
As a student and applicant for the S&K Preemie Love Foundation Scholarship, I admire this scholarship because this scholarship foundation is designed to help support and promote students in pursuing high education to help better ones self for the future and to help assist one in providing educational opportunities for students. With this scholarship being church affiliated it has more meaning than most scholarships with me being an active member with church it is important to me to attend church and to participate in church activities. Any scholarship to help assist a student attend college should always be desired. My career objectives are to attend a four year university and to either study biology or engineering. I am writing in hopes of being granted an appeal to live off campus for the Fall semester of my Junior year. Though the privilege of living off campus is typically reserved for students who are rising Seniors, under these certain circumstances I would like to ask to be given an exception to this rule.
I attended Mercy Catholic High school for my first two years of high school, but because I saw my mother struggling to pay for my tuition, I decided to attend a public school for my last two years. When I graduated I received the gold merit scholarship at Coppin State University. I decided to take advantage of the summer program that it offered called the Summer Academic Success Program, SASA. Through this program I began taking rigorous college courses immediately after high school graduation. I earned a 4.0 and 7 college credits during SASA.
I believe that God sent His son, Jesus Christ, to die on a cross, bearing the weight of our sins so that we may be forgiven and have eternal life. One of my primary reasons for applying at Liberty is the fact that it is a Christian university and my personal beliefs align with the beliefs taught at Liberty. I personally believe that God has given each of His children unique gifts and talents; each of us must simply discover these gifts and talents and use them to impact the world for Christ. At Liberty, I will be able to use my God-given abilities to train for my future career while fellowshipping with thousands of other Christians, a unique and extraordinary opportunity that not all believers have. If I were to attend a secular university,
The world warmed by about 0.7°C in the 20th century. Every year in this century has been warmer than all but one in the last century (1998). If carbon-dioxide levels were magically to stabilize where they are now (almost 390 parts per million, 40% more than before the industrial revolution) the world would probably warm by a further half a degree or so as the ocean, which is slow to change its temperature, caught up. But CO2 levels continue to rise. All this affect the ice pack in the Arctic. As temperature rises, ice melts. This causes many problems.
