As a child, I had a dream to become a doctor. I was always fascinated to learn about anatomy. Since, I graduated middle school, I wanted to attend a school that gave me a head start on the career you might want to pursue. I discovered a magnet High School name Franklin Learning Center, who was a college prep high school, which offered majors. The major they offered were Medical Assistant, Bussiness, Computer Science, Dance, and music. I decided to major in Medical Assistant which gave me a good start in the health care, I loved and enjoyed being a part of that major so I have decided to continue heading down the medical path. One day I hope to become a Pediatrician working in a clinic or hospital with children and having my own private practice
It started from wanting to be a doctor because almost everyone in my family is in the medical field in some way. I wanted to carry out that legacy at first, but then it did not feel true to what I really wanted. At that time, I really did not know what I wanted to do as a career. Then I entered into my junior year and in my English language and composition class, we were reading the book “The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks”. This book changed my life and helped me make my decision to become a Health Specialties teacher.
Feeling unsatisfied with your life or unhappy because you thought that at this point of your life you would be working in a career that you truly enjoyed is not the best feeling. But then again you can’t expect change when you’re not doing anything to change it. Sometime all you need is a that moment to stimulate the decision to make a change. Especially when you have that feeling in the back of your mind, you basically already made the decision to change. All you need is that moment of reassurance.
“What do you want to be when you grow up?” As a child, we have all been asked this question; and as unrealistic children, we all had dreams of being a superhero, princess, cowboy, or astronaut. Later on in life, as time went by, and as we became more knowledgeable, our answers became more serious. Some of us wanted to be teachers, business owners, or a veterinarian. However, I have always wanted to be a doctor, but not just any doctor. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be a pediatrician. Now, half way through my junior year in high school, I have started to question the details of this career, and all the hard work it takes to become a part of the medical field.
I have aspired to be in the medical field for as long as I can remember. At the beginning of every school year the teachers would inquire each student to share what role we wanted to pursue when we grow up, my answer was always the same: a nurse. I am very goal oriented, and I am aware to accomplish anything you must work for it and put in one hundred percent. Mistakes can be critical, but they remain a huge part of the learning experience and advancing. How one handles those mistakes are ultimately what makes or breaks you.
After completion of high school, I moved on to Barry University where I majored in the premedical sciences in pursuit of my ultimate goal of becoming a medical doctor. A career in medicine is the only goal I have had as a child since my dad handed me an anatomy atlas while in primary school. The task was daunting, but with hard work and many late nights I persevered. The experience of college developed my communication skills, exposed me to several cultures and helped me to mature as a leader.
I specifically wish to become a Pediatrician, the love and patience I have for children is insane. I love helping kids and working with them. Because of my medical class, I can become a medical assistant right after high school, but I really want to get a college degree and follow my dad’s steps.
I come from a small village in Pakistan which is an underprivilded community with limited resources. Seeing the difficulties people had to go through to receieve medical care was originally my motivation to choose the pre-medical track. I have always wanted to provide help to the underprividleged because I have closely seen the lack of medical resources that many third world counries have, which results in pateints not given proper medical care. Their minor sympoms are not given attention to, resulting in high rates of critical illnesses. I hope to apply my skills and experiences by providing hands-on care. By volunteering as a medical assistant, I hope to make a small difference in both the patients' and the medical professionals' lives. I
As a child, I always wanted to be a doctor and as I got older that changed. I then wanted to major
A mission statement is a statement of the purpose of a company, organization or person; its reason for existing; a written declaration of an organization's core purpose and focus that normally remains unchanged over time. A personal mission statement is developed in much the same way that an organizational mission statement is created. A personal mission statement is a brief description of what an individual wants to focus on, wants to accomplish and wants to become. It is a way to focus energy, actions, behaviors and decisions towards the things that are most important to the individual. My statement is what I plan to accomplish in my life.
As a graduate of Heald college in Concord California, I have excelled through the academic curriculum for the two years that I have spent my commitment and dedication to earn the title as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. The phrase, “why are you going to be a really good medical assistant?” Well, I don’t see myself as a really good medical assistant. I see myself as an individual who is devoted into the medical field which is a passion that I see fit in my line of duty. I feel that being a really good medical assistant does not define who they really are as a person in the medical work force. The phrase really good as I see it is a person who knows how the do the job but does not give any aspect of the passion or the need to learn more.
As a child, and even as a young girl, it was my dream to become a doctor one day. Specifically, I aspired to become a pediatrician. As time passed, and mostly, as school became more demanding, I found myself in a situation of uncertainty. My mother has always been the one to inspire me for almost everything. Her love for children and infants is what made me realize I wanted to pursue a career in which I could specialize in children.
While growing up, my answer to the question “What do you want to be when you grow up?” changed numerous times, but it has always involved a profession somewhere in the medical field, because those jobs have one thing in common- they are dedicated to helping others.
1st career I will talk about is a Pediatrician. I would like to be a Pediatrician because I like dealing with kids, I like making kids feel better about their life. The Education Requirements to be a Pediatrician is earning a Bachelor 's Degree according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics; medical schools do not typically require a particular undergraduate degree for admission. As a child, people have different dreams and interests. When asked what they want to be when they grow up, everyone has different answers. Whenever I was asked this question, I always answered that I want to become a doctor. I always wanted the medical kits and doctor play sets as a child. It was my dream as a child to become a doctor. As I grew older, I started looking into different types of medical fields, to see what interests me more and if I can actually handle the pressure and difficulties of this profession. I am planning to become a Cardiothoracic Surgeon as heart always fascinated me as it is a small organ that we depend on and its ability to function determines our lives.
