Hailing from a family which had always encouraged me to study and achieve my goals, I have completed my Bachelors in Engineering from GITAM(Gandhi Institute of technology And Management) University with a first class degree. It is after a good deal of self-evaluation that I have decided to pursue graduate studies in Engineering Management. Applying the correct logic to a given situation has boosted my confidence and presence of mind. My junior seminar work, my practical training and my courses have given me plenty of exposure to these areas and I feel that I have sufficient motivation and aptitude to work in this field. I am also interested in Programming Language Design and Programming Systems. I have worked in these areas in my mini project at Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) and in my ongoing B. Tech. project. I have chosen Engineering Management as it is quite fascinating and allows me to enhance my knowledge in the field of business with the essence of engineering in it. Business has always been in my family and if I can channelize my knowledge in a proper way by using my engineering knowledge as well, then, I believe that I can reach greater heights. Being an engineer, it is always a pride to study the course you have always dreamt for and my dream lies in the blend of Engineering and Management. Taking all these factors into account, I feel that Engineering Management is the perfect option for my graduate studies and I am confident that I will make a positive contribution. My undergraduate studies have widened my thought process and have put light on many important topics which would be very useful for me to pursue my masters in Engineering Management.
