I have known from an early age that I’ve wanted to be some kind of doctor. Helping people has always been a passion of mine. When I was younger, I wanted to be a veterinarian. I love working with little kids and I feel as though I am skilled at it. Currently, I am interested in becoming either a neonatologist or a general pediatrician. Most commonly, neonatologists work in a hospital under stressful conditions and long, unpredictable hours. The median salary for a neonatologist in Grand Rapids is around $220,000 (Salary Wizard). The characteristics a desirable neonatologist should have are excellent communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and the ability to work well under stress. He or she should also be empathetic and passionate for helping others (Miller, 2010). A neonatologist has many tasks and responsibilities before, during, and after the birth of an at-risk newborn. If there is reason to believe there are going to be complications with a birth that would cause negative side effects for the infant, a neonatologist will be brought in to help. In these high-risk situations, a team effort is required and the neonatologist takes the lead position. The neonatologist will be responsible for advising the parents on what to expect during and after labor. After the infant is born, the neonatologist has to find a method to properly care for it. Because most premature babies have a low birth-weight, their lungs need to be supported and they need to be
I would like to go into the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner career field. Pediatric Nurse Practitioners help Pediatricians and other Physicians diagnose and take care of children from infancy to young adults. I have grown up with ten siblings and many more cousins, so I have learned how to deal with children of all ages. Also, I have been interested in the medical field since I was a little girl and I have always loved to help people. I would have liked to be a Pediatrician but I would prefere not be in school for another thirteen years, so I found that the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner was the perfect career for me.
I specifically wish to become a Pediatrician, the love and patience I have for children is insane. I love helping kids and working with them. Because of my medical class, I can become a medical assistant right after high school, but I really want to get a college degree and follow my dad’s steps.
Biology. Seven letters, one word. Biology initially was a course the state of Texas required me to take but as time progressed biology soon became my passion. Eventually over time, biology started to reflect in my everyday life and started to inspire me to scope more into the study. Biology became my calling and the key to the future I’ve always desired to obtain. Becoming a biology major in the University of Texas at Austin and obtaining a Human Biology degree with be the first step of many to being closer to becoming a successful physical therapist.
During my senior year of high school, our graduating class had to take more than one career assessment. I was given choices in the health and human science field. I was a lover of science and the human body so there is no wonder on why I was given these career choices. You never think about choosing a career until you are given a list of what there is to do in the world. I put a lot of time and effort into choosing the career I want the rest of my life. I found that a lot of my childhood was spent in hospitals. When I was there I made sure to make time to look at the babies in the nursery. My mind would come up with a ton of questions regarding their life, family, and health. This lead me to choose a career pathway in neonatal nursing. Neonatal nurse practitioners normally deal with babies who need immediate medical attention, but sometimes there are instances when that is not the case. I would like to become a neonatal nurse practitioner so I can apply my education and experience to better the newborns’ health and well-being.
I have had a passion for becoming a healthcare provider for children for quite a while (for a long time). Children are one of the most important individuals of society because they are the future and will one day be in charge of the world. Their health at a young age is indicative to how their health will be as adults. Childhood has a great effect on how a person turns out to be so I hope to help children I hope to use prevention and education to preserve and restore the health of my patients. My career goals are to prevent children from having to spend time in hospitals or in pain and to help them live out their life and dreams to the fullest extent. Children play a very large role in their families, and when a child becomes sick, the whole family becomes distressed. Pediatricians not only heal children, but they help and prevent a family from suffering. I love medicine and children, and I hope to combine these two passions by becoming a pediatrician.
My number one goal is to best prepare myself to become a doctor. Every time I get a chance to help others, I get a feeling of accomplishment and gratification. My career goal after high school is to get into a good college where I can become a successful student. After college I want to graduate with a doctoral degree in medicine. The reason I'm interested in this career is because I like working with people and helping them.
Did you know there are different types of doctors in t.t reasons, for example, there are surgeons, dentist, but my favorite type of doctor is a pediatrician. Pediatrician help kids, for example they help your child if they have health or mental problems. When I grow up I want to University of Michigan to study and become a pediatrician.
“What do you want to be when you grow up?” As a child, we have all been asked this question; and as unrealistic children, we all had dreams of being a superhero, princess, cowboy, or astronaut. Later on in life, as time went by, and as we became more knowledgeable, our answers became more serious. Some of us wanted to be teachers, business owners, or a veterinarian. However, I have always wanted to be a doctor, but not just any doctor. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be a pediatrician. Now, half way through my junior year in high school, I have started to question the details of this career, and all the hard work it takes to become a part of the medical field.
I have aspired to be in the medical field for as long as I can remember. At the beginning of every school year the teachers would inquire each student to share what role we wanted to pursue when we grow up, my answer was always the same: a nurse. I am very goal oriented, and I am aware to accomplish anything you must work for it and put in one hundred percent. Mistakes can be critical, but they remain a huge part of the learning experience and advancing. How one handles those mistakes are ultimately what makes or breaks you.
Just a few years ago, I fully realized that I want to be a Neonatal doctor. When I was about three, I had this little doll that I would carry around. One day we were watching Life and Trauma in the E.R. and I threw my baby doll onto the floor and started to resuscitate her. Ever since then I knew that I wanted to be a doctor of some kind; I just wasn't sure what kind of doctor I wanted to be.
As a child, I always wanted to be a doctor and as I got older that changed. I then wanted to major
I would like to become a physician because it is a career that is constantly evolving. As a physician, I would be expected to constantly learn new techniques and information to better care for future patients. I would also enjoy interacting with patients and affecting their lives
My sights have changed as I have gotten older. I no longer want to become a medical doctor. I may in the far future decide to become a doctor but I would rather be a registered nurse because they deal with the patients more. I also prefer working with pediatric or gereatric patients. Whatever way that I decide to go I will always be helping someone, somewhere.
Chemistry is ubiquitous and its prevalence is evident in everything right from environment, biology and even in technology. It is this versatility, which aids me in gaining insight in every field of science. Being a graduate in Bio-analytical Chemistry and Organic chemistry, my enthusiasm and inclination grew towards quantitative and qualitative analysis of natural and synthetic compounds in research laboratory. It is with this passion, I look forward to unravel the mystics of analytical chemistry through theoretical and practical knowledge. Therefore, I would like to apply for the Doctoral Program in Analytical Chemistry at University of Massachusetts - Dartmouth.
Throughout my life, I have worked towards one goal which is to become a doctor. Medicine offers the opportunity for me to integrate different scopes of science while trying to improve human life. Medicine has intrigued me throughout all my life because it??s a never ending
