Stephen Curry has sprained his right knee during the Warriors’ playoff game against the Houston Rockets on Sunday. Curry has missed the last two games of the series, including the Game 3 loss that has now made it a more competitive series.
The Warriors guard was guarding Houston forward Trevor Ariza when he failed to gain his footing and appeared to injure his own leg. Curry has limped off to his team’s locker room. He tried to return for the second half of the game with the intention of playing, but went back to the locker room.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr told reporters Curry will undergo an MRI on Monday, adding that his ankle, which was injured earlier in the series, is "fine."
"I just feel so bad for him," Kerr added, via the Bleacher Reports.

Currently, the Warriors still lead the series at 2-1, but the resilient Rockets managed to bounce back and closed the gap with a one-point victory at Game 3. Curry’s injury will continue to test Warriors’ tenacity, without their top scorer the Warriors need to take some drastic measures, taking some replacements. The Warriors will likely turn to the capable Shaun Livingston as Curry’s temporary replacement, while Andre Iquodala and Draymond Green can also make some contributions and ball-handling roles.
