Stephen Curry's Influence On What Makes People Successful

We may have one of the best all-time NBA shooters playing right before our eyes. That player is none other than Stephen Curry. It has been apparent mostly this year in the season he is currently playing with the Golden State Warriors. With the NBA being quite contemporary, Stephen Curry has done things never before seen on the basketball court. There have been many NBA legends in awe and left speechless because of the talents of Curry. Stephen Curry has proven to best the best shooter in NBA history by having a great work ethic, inheriting genes from his father, and having the team he has around him.

There are many people in this world that are influential. These people fight for what they believe in, they go after what they want, and go past obstacles that they face. An individual that shows these traits would be the 40th president of the United States of America, Ronald Reagan. Leadership is one of the biggest and most important characteristics a person can have in life. Some people believe that leadership is what deciphers a child from being an adult. I believe some people are born with leadership and some people observe and breath in the leadership qualities of mentors and become better people. Also, to be successful you either have to be very lucky or have a pure internal beliefs about yourself and only positive outlooks in life. It’s a cloth that we wear in order to make an appeal to everyone we meet on a daily basis. It serves as our identity that will carry your name in any establishment you may go. John R. Wooden was an American basketball player coach and teacher. He taught philosophy which highly influenced his coaching style. Wooden created the Pyramid of Success, which took him seventeen years to fully construct. The pyramid works as building blocks, each row acts as a foundation for the one above it. Wooden’s pyramid of success consists of: industriousness, friendship, loyalty, cooperation and enthusiasm in the first row. The second row has: self-control, alertness, initiative, and intentness.
