(Klaus was getting a little anxious on his upcoming trip to Mystic Falls University to see Caroline that evening. He was not the type of guy who would normally put his heart on the line. He knew perfectly well if it were any other woman, he wouldn't give her the time of day as it'd be a waste of time. However, he knew Caroline was different. The fire inside of her, her sassiness, the way she spoke her mind...Klaus could go on and on) (He couldn't believe how soft he was getting towards a woman. His enemies would only be too happy to use the feelings he had for Caroline against him. Rebekah was right on that. Klaus needed to make a decision and stick to it. He did make it, in fact. He was going to surprise her that evening. Despite Rebekah's reservations on it all, Klaus knew she just wanted him to be happy. Klaus knew he would be happy with Caroline. No woman has ever made him feel what Caroline Forbes does. He never considered himself loyal to a woman before. Rebekah was the only exception as they were family. He didn't always like that part, though) …show more content…
He didn't know how she felt about him. He had feelings for her. That he knew. He has never admitted to anything more than that. He knew when he was finally face to face with her, any hidden feelings her had in the past and present would be revealed. Klaus didn't know if Tyler felt it was a game on who stole the blondie's heart. To Klaus, he would admit his true feelings and if Caroline did feel the same way, he would fight for her. He would show her he was the better
If she and her sister were really in a temporary foster care situation, he should have gone through the proper channels to get them back. Instead, he came to her in the middle of the night, while she slept on a trampoline outside with her sister. He convinces Caroline that this was the right thing to do because he wouldn’t have been able to take care of them both. He makes her believe that this was the only way they could be together, but we know this to not be true. He was a veteran and was receiving a pension.
Unfortunately, Elijah feels insecure with his relationship as he thinks Jayla is unfaithful, uncommitted, and will leave him one day. These types of thoughts and feeling represent Anxious-Ambivalent style of attachment. The strengths of Jayla and Elijah’s relationship is their ability to communicate and the fact that they both share a common element of love towards one another which is key to a successful relationship between two partners. Even though communication is a strength I believe it serves as a double edge sword because communication can be perceived as ineffective based upon the what and how context of the communication between Jayla and Elijah. McLeod 2008, stated being an adult you can put your feelings into words and describe how it feels. It is unclear about either parties past relationship history and if this causes some of the emotions or concerns regarding their current relationship or if there was a series of events that happened to cause Elijah to feel a certain way regarding his relationship with
I died when he said that...my mind went into overdrive from all the bullshit I was hearing. I guess Klaus was feeling sentimental and considering the gravity of the situation wanted to have peace with everyone.
The next morning Althea felt both confident and relieved and couldn’t help but to think of that drunk fool’s face as she gathered her winnings and left the night before. Meanwhile, Hartley weighed heavy on Venus’s mind and she retrieved the small green gem her mother left on the table. Venus asked her mother about it and Althea replies, “Oh, I won it, along with all these gold pieces!” Althea proudly held up her winnings and Venus was instantly intrigued. She was not interested in the gold, instead she was interested in the look of confidence and power on her mother’s face. Althea continued, “He said it had the power to cure all ailments, but he was just a drunk fool.” Her mother’s statement brought her attention back to the green stone.
he Ordeal itself stands separate from the other trials Harry faces, and you can tell right away that it's more serious than his other tests. Earlier in the film, Harry and his friends have the teachers to bail them out. And while no one wants to see Malfoy make that smug little grin, at least they're not in any real danger of being killed.
Whoops, late message. I hadn't realized two days had gone by. > Especially, because the writers had said in many interviews that they overexaggerated Caroline/Klaus in VD. And they really, really regret letting Klaus say the line "I intend to be your last love".
That is why he gives him interpretations or alternatives of what his behavior might be about like remind him that the last time they saw each other Marvin tried to kill Frank and that can be a perfect excuse to kill him now. With that said, he asks for clarification and things got clear after Frank had to clarify that Sarah did not want to kill him
I found Jackie and Veronica’s love to be very apparent even though their relationship was conflicted majority of the play. At the beginning, Jackie comes home with excellent news that he had gotten a job and brought gifts for Veronica. She is very proud and excited about his accomplishments. Afterwards, Veronica gets in the shower and Jackie notices a hat that isn’t his and begins to question her integrity. He believes that she has cheated, which she has. The confrontations then begin and carry out throughout the story.
The town hadn’t changed much since Bonnie had left and ever since she had returned, she felt more out of place then any. Mystic Falls used to be a home that Bonnie could always come back to, no matter how bad life got out there. Since returning, Bonnie hadn’t been able to really take to Caroline or Elena for the simple fact she didn’t know how to even address the subject. It wasn’t her friend’s fault that her Grams was now gone but they did play a key role in it. Coming back was a lot more painful then she had presumed and for safety reasons, she continued to lock herself away from her friends.
When Frank first offered him the job of being the President of San Lorenzo, he did the correct thing and said no. He knew he was not reliable enough for a job like it. He did not want the pressure of the job. Then, Frank brought up that if he was the President, he would be able to marry the very beautiful Mona. John, being obsessed with Mona ever since he saw her in the San Lorenzo magazine, changed his mind immediately. He craved for Mona. All he ever wanted, was Mona. He let that inner drive for her influence his decision in the long run. He later pays for it by Mona saying that she loves everyone equally, not just him alone. This made him very very jealous, but there was nothing he could do about it. Mona is her own free spirit. She can never be contained.
In today’s society the ideals of an individual defines everyone. The most prominent ideal/belief that I have is the idea that we should not teach the children of the future to believe the same things that their parents do. They should decide what they believe on their own. The reason that I believe in this idea so much is because of the amount of hate in the world today. People can’t get along because there are some people in the world that teach nothing but hate of others. The children that are see their parents acting hateful towards others for no good reason will copy their parents and will grow up thinking its okay. To me, it seems that all of the hate in the world, is taught, not inherent. Prejudices because of race, sexual orientation,
As a child, I didn’t think of myself as different. My mind was a labyrinth of immature and mature thoughts alike, Boys. Why them? Why would anyone want to be one? Girls. They had all the pretty trinkets: Barbies, makeup, dresses, and everything pink. That’s what I wanted. And as I grew older, I became attracted to boys. In that way. I didn’t know it was unaccepted; or “wrong.” I thought everyone just liked who they liked and that’s that. I misunderstood completely.
Stereotypes are all around us. Wherever one goes there will be stereotypes for people, groups, or even animals. For example, pit bulls are known to be vicious dogs, even though there are many pit bulls that are nice and friendly. These stereotypes can cloud good people’s judgement of others just solely based on appearance. This prejudgment of a person can hurt them various ways in the “real world” such as applying for a job.
I disagree Fletcher, the world is made up of many different ethnicities and their values and customs play a role in how they perceive and treat others. For instance, I have known several people from Spain who consider themselves at the top of the Hispanic culture and would not associate with people from Puerto Rico as they would consider them beneath them. Most of Europe has that view on Americans as well. The culture of the south has an emphasis placed on being overly nice and polite to others, whether they mean it or not. As a New Yorker I have heard that we are considered rude by many southerners. I find this opinion to be based off of a misconception. Our values are different and that leads us to handle others through our own eyes. For
Alright, Klaus knew, they were friends and liked to hang out with one another but he’d heard enough stories about this combination and he couldn’t help but have a bad feeling about this.
