The competition amongst professional and young athletes is all over the world and has been around for a very long time now. The desire of being a competitor is something that it is within everyone. In sports, everyone wants to be better than the next man. The competition in sports makes some people willing to do anything to be the best. Many athletes have taken the traits of being a competitor way too far and wants to raise their chance of winning and being the best. A large number of athletes use performance-enhancing drugs, such as steroids, to become the best they can be. Steroids should not be accepted in sports.

This argument is false because it would just allow athletes athletic ability to insanely increase and break records. Which would not be fair to the athletes that set the records before the legalization of performance-enhancing drugs in sports.
The last reason why someone might disagree with the problem is of the health risks that comes with it. They might argue that athletes undertake serious health risk just by stepping onto the field. Although the opposition makes a good point here by stepping on the field or court, whatever the sport may be, athletes know there is a chance of injury. While the other hand the use of steroids guarantee health issues.
Anabolic steroids should never be someone's “go to” to become a better athlete, and should never be looked at as anything beneficial. Many people consider performance enhancing drugs as being a great resource because it will provide them with many advantages in a quick and efficient way.
