Steve Jobs Has Made A Huge Impact On Technology

Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple Inc., was widely recognized as the pioneer of personal computer technology, and for his advancements in the consumer electronics fields. However, years before he became well-known, it was the free enterprise system that allowed him to start his own business. The free enterprise helped Steve Jobs create a powerful and influential tech company.

Steve jobs once said, “if today were the last day of your life, would you want to do what you 're about to do now? Steve Jobs today would be worth about $31.6 billion. He was a very smart person, becoming a very successful man. Jobs was born on February 24, 1955. His parents Joanne Schieble and Abdulfattah Jandali, gave him up for adoption. Steve Jobs 's father was very hard on him, saying he did everything wrong. This probably led to him being a perfectionist. He went to school at Homestead high school in California. When it came time to go to college, he went for one semesters at Reed College in Portland, Oregon , and dropped out. After college, Jobs met Chrisann Brennan. They ended up having a child together, Lisa, but Steve Jobs claimed she wasn’t his.Jobs experimented with different pursuits, before starting Apple. Later, Steve jobs became the Co-founder of Apple computers. Steve Jobs was the co-founder of Apple, and was a leader for new technology; his legacy was leading the innovation of the computer and other technologies, which are user friendly and market leaders.

Steve Jobs was like the Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell and the Albert Einstein of our time.  He not only innovated personal computing, but personal media and communication, iTunes which became one of the most popular music and video retailers and Pixar which was one of his side projects had become one of the greatest animation digital movie creators and software. But all that is a just part of the list of his legacy, because in the end he still left behind Apple which is world’s most valuable company, which is valued at $350 Billion Dollars.

Given the task of conceptualizing a man who truly changed the realm of technology as we know it today, my mind secludes one person. That person is Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple Computer, now known simply as Apple. For this rhetorical analysis, I will be using three biographies/profiles about Jobs including “The Real Genius of Steve Jobs” by Malcolm Gladwell with The New Yorker (June 19, 2017), “Jobs’ Biography; Thoughts on Life, Death, and Apple” from NPR (October 25, 2011), and “Steve Jobs” from Biography.com (April 28, 2017). Precise attention to the audience, purpose, and tone, allows all three of these profiles to vividly explain and represent Jobs as the truly exceptionally minded man that he was.

Jobs worked to build a computer that would be easy for customers to use. The first Macintosh computer needed to be easy and accessible. It looked like a TV but also had the effects of a typewriter. Credit for ideas were never given to the instrumental “behind the scenes” intellectuals, and without the them, he may never have been so successful. While he was working for Apple, people would always struggle with the individualistic approach he had and would often times complain about his boastful nature.
