Elliot (2004) defines TPS are computerised systems which carry out daily/weekly activities, transactions and functions of an organisation in operation level. Consequently operational systems are sometimes referred to transaction processing systems because they are main systems serve for operation needs. The systems integrate a number of applications dependent upon the role of operational system that is being identified.
