William Shakespeare was born in Stratford-upon-Avon, a flourishing town in central England with a population of two-thousand at the time. He was born to Mary Arden, a local heiress, and John Shakespeare, a leather merchant and town bailiff, who both had been long-time residents of the town. While the exact date of his birth is unknown, it is estimated that Shakespeare’s birthdate is or was around the 23rd of April, 1564, because of a record of his baptization three days later; children were baptized as early as possible during this time, around three days after their birth. He had eight siblings: five younger brothers and sisters, named Gilbert, Richard, Edmund, Joan, and Ann, and three others that died during their births.

Shakespeare was a man who influenced the English language in his time. His birth date is officially unknown but is largely acknowledged on April 23rd,1564. His birthplace is in Stratford-upon-avon, United Kingdom and went to school at the King's New School in Stratford. Later on as he became well known and famous and according to (History.com) he became known as “Bard of Avon.” and “England's National poet.” During this time he had already written 37 plays. Later on in his career he disappeared for a couple of years and later on was found where he had written several plays which were based on historical and cultural things in London. ( History.com) This is what his work is famous for.

Shakespeare along with his family relocated to London, around 1588. Within a few years, he had accomplished some success as an actor, a poet and a playwright.

Imagination isn’t just for playground fun, or to play a game with your friends. Imagination is simply something that we put in our head to see the unseeable, to think the unthinkable. Shakespeare, the well known playwright that went down in history, not because of his looks, not because of his money, but because of his imagination. He may not use the unicorns, dragons, etc, that we think of when imagination is brought up. Imagination can be realistic too, it doesn’t have to always be about magic, and wishes coming true. Imagination could also be stories about something that could be real but isn’t, deep down shakespeare in all of his writing pieces is trying to tell a message possibly about his early life.

Since we know Stratford's famous Bard lived with his father, John Shakespeare, we can presume that he grew up in Henley Street, some one hundred miles northwest of London.
