As I grow, experiences have shaped the way I behave, my interests, and my ability to empower others, among other strengths. While, weaknesses have molded me to become a better person as an employee and as a future manager. You first have to accept your flaws in order for change to occur. That’s why feedback is necessary to understand things you never knew you were great at or need to improve. I’ve always believed that you should “work for a cause, not for applause. Live life to express, not to impress. Don’t strive to make your presence noticed just make your absence felt” (unknown). This has given me the real significance of fulfillment at work because accomplishment comes from within. We must keep in mind whether it is at work or in our personal lives that we must think with our mind and also with our heart. We all have the same purpose in life and that is to be the best we can. A great asset to have as a manager and also as an employee is to be delegated to others. “Strength and growth come only through continuous effort and struggle” (Napolean Hill). This managerial characteristic has improved my relationships and the way my superiors look at me because I listen to other’s opinion and build from my own and theirs. Team projects happen often in the work place and it is imperative to understand that others may think different from you.
