Stress is the "wear and tear" our bodies experience as we adjust to our continually changing surroundings. It has physical and emotional effects on us and can make good or bad feelings. As a good influence, stress can help motivate us to do something, or help us through the day. As a bad influence, it can result in feelings of distrust, rejection, anger, and depression (overall, make you feel really crappy), which in turn can lead to health problems such as headaches, upset stomachs, rashes, insomnia, ulcers, high blood pressure, heart disease, and strokes. As one has seen, positive stress adds anticipation and excitement to life, and we all thrive under a certain amount of stress. Deadlines, competitions, confrontations, and even our frustrations and sorrows add depth and enrichment to our lives. Our goal is not to eliminate stress but to learn how to manage it and how to use it to help us. Insufficient stress acts as a depressant and may leave us feeling bored or rejected; on the other hand, excessive stress may leave us feeling "tied up in knots." What one needs to do is find a safe level of stress, which will individually motivate but not overwhelm them.
A way one can manage stress is to build their physical reserves. This includes exercise for cardiovascular fitness three to four times a week (moderate, prolonged rhythmic exercise is best, such as walking, swimming, cycling, or jogging), eat well-balanced, nutritious meals, maintain your ideal weight, avoid nicotine, excessive caffeine, and other stimulants, mix leisure with work, take breaks and get away when you can, get enough sleep, and finally be as consistent with your sleep schedule as possible.

I found a few pieces of good advice from both Leo Babauta's Simple Living Manifesto and Jonathan Mead's article entitled "10 Ways to Un-bake Your Brain" on how to help with this stress. My favorite piece of advice is to get lost in some good music. To me music is a huge part of my life and can reflect moods that we are in and also turn moods upside down. I can totally get behind listening to the right music that can help get me back into a less stressed better state of mind. I also Like the idea of learning to say no.
Write down all the things that are causing you stress and get them out of your head. Think about the positive things going on in your life and focus on them. Hang out with your friends and family and talk to people you trust about the things that are causing you stress. Finally, exercise is proven to release endorphins in your brain which will not only make you feel happier, but less stressed as well.
One of the easiest ways to manage stress is following breathing exercises. Not trying to sound like a yoga instructor, but regulating your breathing will help you remain calm and focused. The easiest breathing exercise is inhaling for four seconds, hold your breath for seven seconds, and exhale for eight seconds. If you repeat this technique four times, you will be much more relaxed. This breathing exercise can also help you fall asleep faster.
Eating healthy can also help, always have a healthy snack bar at hand, do not skip a meal, always take your meals regularly, and make sure your meal is balanced. Limit your alcohol intake and caffeine intake as too much of alcohol and caffeine can cause anxiety which can lead to depression and stress. Get plenty of sleep when you are stressed, because when one is stressed, the body needs extra sleep and rest, always take deep breaths when undergoing some project, inhale in and out up to 5- 10 times, as this helps to calm your nerves down, always try to have a good amount of laughter, having a positive attitude towards life, knowing that you cannot control everything, replace negative thought with positives, talk with someone when you feel stress, it can be a friend, a relative or a psychologist, tell them you are stressed and how they can help you. On the whole get involve in a volunteer work, it could be in your community or elsewhere, this create a support system and can help ease your stress. Learn how to balance personal needs, family, work and friends, do not give need to everything at once, and learn to take a step at a time. Always do what is called positive self-talk, talking to yourself that you can do it, I can make it, it is well, motivates you thereby reducing your stress level or helping you overcome stress. Personally, coping with stress depends on the type of stress I’m experiencing. If the stress I’m experiencing has low severity, I typically take a break from what I’m doing, whether it’s homework or if I’m in a social situation for example. As you have all known already, everyone has different reasons as to why they are stressed and how they solve it. For me, I usually get stressed when I have some kind of competition, such as, volleyball and soccer. Before the start of these games, I get nervous and all these different negative thoughts feel my head. I get rid of these stressed by exercising, telling myself that I would do good and to have as much fun as I can while I play. By doing these things, my stressed has become smaller and I become better mentally and physically.

When you were stress, you can create a hobby that you loved. In that way, your free time is full with something that you loved the most and something that you really really enjoyed it. The word stress is defined as a state of mental or emotional strain or tension resulting from adverse or very demanding circumstances. The world is full of endless opportunities; we are allowed to pursue anything in life through hard work. This is something that is emphasized early in life through school. Generally not everyone is informed of the stresses of certain routes chosen in life through occupations. There is now ways to find out how stressful jobs are. Schools are providing classes required by the state to teach. It is no secret that some jobs are more stressful than others. What may not be known as much is how to avoid that stress in the workplace. Sometimes stress can not be avoided and become to much to bear. This is when it is important to know what to do. What not to do is to turn to negative behaviors, medication, or therapy, the right way to go would be through what fits an individual best, through simple daily changes.

Every day an educational routine, such as tests, homework, grades, final exams, and etc., develop lots of stress in students' bodies. Teens are always confused what they want to study in the future, which major they want to study, and where to take money for education. All of these makes students stress a lot and cause sleep deprivation. Stress, caused by work, also may hit your health. The first thing you thought when you get a job – money. You need money for paying your bills, buying food, spending it for self-needed things. However, you worry if it will be enough money for all of these? And it becomes a real
