Stricter Terrorism In The United States

Security- Security and providing safety for people is important in any country. According to Mr. Trump immigrants are the number one source of terrorism in the USA which he always say that they bring the worse in them when they come to America. Although it's known that most of the mass attacks and school shootings were caused by people who were born and lived in the USA, yet a lot of americans still think that immigrants

During President Donald Trump’s Presidential campaign, he made it extremely clear how he wanted to enforce more strict and regulated laws on the immigration policy for the United States of America. To evaluate the statement above on whether they are necessary or not, the answer to that question with my morals and knowledge on politics, I have to completely disagree. The Obama administration had great control on immigration in the US without having to be so strict on the citizens.

On January 27 Donald Trump signed an executive order on immigration. This order blocked many refugees from coming into the United States. The order also blocks citizens from Muslim countries such as Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen from entering the U.S. Donald Trump goal is to protect the U.S through the immigration ban. He saids that with the immigration ban ,the government will be able to review the refugee approval process and add more security measures.

Did you know that it will cost billions to finish the border wall between U.S and Mexico? Do you know where is Trump is going to get billions from ? Tax payers. Congress has no idea where to get the money to fund the building of the border wall between the U.S and Mexico. The fence will not stop immigrants from coming into the country at all, there are ways that people from Mexico can enter the U.S legally. The border wall is too expensive and impractical for us to continue building to complete it, it’s going to take 4 years for the border wall to completely finish covering the remaining 1,250 miles. A border wall won’t solve any terrorist problem that we as a country have. We shouldn’t continuing the building of the U.S- Mexico border because it just a waste of time and money because it will take 4 years for the border wall to be completely finish the border and maybe after the wall is finish, May not Trump won’t be president The border wall won’t help the crime rate go down in the U.S.

In previous years, many countries and territories around the world have attempted to build walls, and many have had very much success. For example, Most of the walls built after World War 2 and the Cold War still exist today. There were a total of 110 walls built between that time period. Professor Nazli Avdan led a study that had a goal of identifying if a border wall reduced or increased the risk of a transnational terrorist attack. This study found that since the year 1900, transnational terrorist attacks have seen a thirteen percent annual decrease in countries with border walls (Border fences reduce...attacks). This has been a real focal point that President Donald Trump has used to get people to agree with him. Another reason of his includes the disrupting of the funneling of illicit money and drugs into the United States of America (Border fences reduce...attacks). The bonus of the building of the wall is that it will be a visible sign of the government taking action.

Our President Barack Obama recently made changes to our immigration policy. He announced some major changes to the United States immigration policies. President Obamas recent changes was made through executive action. The executive action included a series of steps towards fixing our immigration policies. According to a guide to the immigration “The series of changes updates relies on the expansion of successfully implemented programs, enhanced efforts to coordinate immigration enforcement and benefit policies across agencies, and attempts to use immigration as a tool of economic and social change.”(A guide to immigration). The President executive action would retool critical aspects of the immigration system. It would change how we enforce

Travel ban aside, the DOJ’s worked in tandem with the Department of Homeland Security, which is in the process of hiring 15,000 Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents (ICE), to enforce the president’s executive orders on immigration. The Justice Department has also put an end to the “catch and release” policies undertaken by the Obama administration, where illegal immigrants caught for unlawful entry into the United States are released while waiting for a hearing with an immigration judge.

Trump executive order on immigration consists of eleven sections. Each section describes his plan of action and why he included that section. A few of the main key points in the reform is to build a wall across the border to separate two countries, Mexico and the U.S, and to expedite deportation. Trump describes how the suspension of Visas and other immigration benefits will protect the U.S. from terrorist attacks like September 11 and to prevent the admission of more “illegal aliens”. I plan to use some of the sections in this source to evaluate Trump’s immigration action and why he believes it’s necessary to do it. Also, I will also explain how some of the sections affect an immigrants life and why they now fear for their lives. Following the November 2015 Paris attacks, Trump called for a temporary ban on all Muslims entering the United States, later stating that the ban would focus instead on countries with a proven history of terrorism, until the level of vetting can be raised to screen out potential terrorists.

He has claimed before that Mexico sends violent criminals, including rapists into the U.S. His plan is to build a wall across the entire southern U.S. border, triple the number and immigration and customs enforcement agents, deport criminal non-citizens, cut federal support to so-called sanctuary with federal immigration agencies and restrict legal immigration. He also wants to end the U.S. policy of granting citizenship to U.S. born children of immigrants. In 2015 Trump proposed a temporary banning all Muslims from entering the country, this was following an attack in San Bernardino, California.

With many nations on high alert, The United States must act on tighter immigration laws. Implementing Homeland Security after 9/11 was a start, but it has not been enough. With the most recent terrorist attacks in San Bernardino, and The Boston Marathon proves are system is broken. The continuous attacks of terror in Paris, Pakistan, and Brussels within the last several months our government must act now before it's to late before another 9/11 happens.

In the past few decades, there have been various terrorist attacks throughout the world. Most importantly, countless acts of terrorism have been committed in the United States of America, that have gradually influenced the way the American security system and security at public buildings, public places, are run. Because of this act of terror, the American government has made protecting its citizens and country a top priority. These attacks, and the nation's response to them security-wise, still affect American's lives today physically and emotionally. Seeing that the 1993 World Trade Center Bombing, September 11, 2001, and the Boston Marathon Bombing have happened on American soil, they have forever changed the way the country deals

In one of his executive orders on immigration he states that unauthorized immigrants “present a significant threat to national security and public safety” (With His Guests, Trump to Highlight Illegal Immigration as a Security Issue). He has vowed to deport all illegal immigrants that have committed crimes while here. Isis has also become a threat to America. In an eight month period officials caught 143 individual listed on the US terror watch list crossing the Mexico border into the United States

President Trump's candidacy starts out with deportation of illegal immigrants. His action to take away rights from people coming into the country, strikes up a debatable subject. An estimation of twelve million illegal immigrants live in the United States. The article from Migration Policy Institute says, “past decade saw an average of 500,000 illegal entrants per year” (MPI). The entrants of immigrants per year shows a large number that is growing day by day. Most illegal immigrants are composed of Mexicans. Immigration levels are rising due to security problems. The goal of deporting and immigration is to secure borders. Problems occur when random people come into the country, without knowing what their background and what their true purposes

Trump’s executive order has cause many controversial opinions about allowing immigrants into the US or not. For him and some of his supporters, immigrants have a negative influence for the good will of the US. I think that limiting the number of immigrant allowed into the country, whether they are illegal or not, is a very big mistake. In my opinion, the three major reasons why he should allow immigrants in the country is because if they limit immigrant they are will experience a lack in US small workers, conflict with many other countries, and a decreasing on the economy.
