How to Be a Strong Christian As most people think, Christians are people who go to Church every Sunday, pray to God, and believe that Jesus is their Savior. These people are right, and what they explained is what all Christians have in common. As a Christian myself, I know that there are two types of Christians. There are strong Christians who diligently obey their rule of conduct that is written in the Bible, and who are not easily influenced by the worldly thinking. There are also weak Christians who care more about what other humans think of them than God. Thirdly, a strong Christian reads or examines the Bible (E) very often, which somewhat overlaps with the last point, analyze if the pastor is communicating the truth using the Bible. In Psalms 119: 98, it is written “Your (God’s) commands make me wiser than my enemies, for they are my constant guide.” Even though we can know God’s commands through God talking to us during prayers, and through people around us, the safest way to understand His command is by reading the Bible. Without examining the Bible, we will probably hear a voice inside of our heart that is Satan’s instead of God’s, and we assume it is God’s direction for us. It will lead us astray from God’s path, and destroy our lives. Therefore, to grasp God’s words of wisdom, to be more sagacious, and to live a desirable life, we must examine the Bible as often as we can. Also, strong Christians remember the Bible verses (R), and mediate on the Bible verses or think about them (T). In Joshua 1:7-8, it is written “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do. Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper ad succeed in all you do.”
