Within this scenario, Mark is a pre-service teacher that aspires to make an impact on his students’ lives. On this note, Mark builds a connection with a reclusive student named Laurel. This sparks controversy amongst the school community as Laurel insists that Mark is her ‘friend’ and begins to share inappropriate information with him. With good intentions, Mark does not want to diminish Laurel’s newfound confidence. Conversely, Mark is unsure of his professional responsibilities in this situation.
I see relationships as being integral and ensure that there is open communication with whanau, tamariki and the teaching team. I am sensitive to each child’s needs and build reciprocal relationships that enhance learning outcomes. Women's Suffrage Not for Ourselves Alone is a film based on the lives of Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony. Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony, the most important women of the nineteenth century worked against all odds for the rights of women. Admitting I was not familiar with Elizabeth Stanton and Susan B. Anthony, which to that I am extremely grateful that this course included women’s history in the curriculum. I served in the military which is a male dominated field and I can say with absolute certainty that the rights of women are still being oppressed. Many historians credit these remarkable women with the largest social transformation in United States history by paving the way to make the U.S a more democratic institution.
A part of my job as administrator is to work with students on keeping ethical standards throughout their lives. I work with others at my school to instill character building skills. We have a character word for the month that is posted in every classroom and other parts of the school. Part of my job as an administrator will be to work with teachers and how they relate to the students. During my Successful School Observation I was able to pick up on the teachers’ attitudes about teaching with the way they spoke to the students and about the students. Most of the teachers were working really well with the students. There were two or three who, if I was their administrator, would be placed on probation or written up because of the way they talk to the students. Belittling students is a big NO! NO! All students deserve to be treated with respect even on our worst days as
Should we accept our sinful nature, or run from it? This is a question that is explored in the works of Nathaniel Hawthorne through stories of Puritan society. Hawthorne creates characters that both give in to and deny sin. However, the only characters that are immovably miserable are Goodman Brown (“Young Goodman Brown) and Arthur Dimmesdale (The Scarlet Letter): those who cannot accept their sin. While Dimmesdale does eventually admit to his sin, Goodman Brown never does and lives out his life miserably. Hawthorne specifically makes characters unhappy due to their inability to admit to their own sin to demonstrate that those who do admit to their sin are far happier.
The teachers profiled in “Unforgettable Miss Bessie”, “My Favorite Teacher”, and “And the Orchestra Played On” are remembered and admired by the narrators. Miss Bessie, Miss Hattie, and Mr. K. possessed significant qualities that made them remarkable educators. They inspired and encouraged students. They only wanted the best for their students and prepared them for their futures, enabling them to overcome difficulties in school. Besides the content of their subject matter these educators their taught students to believe that their lives and future all depends from themselves: whether they would choose the clean asphalt road or dirty, bumpy one.
Teaching, according to the Teacher’s Training Agency, “…is a job for those who like and respect young people” (2005). Andrew clearly from his responses, suffered during his schooling, and perhaps felt disrespected as a result of being labelled. His position as an educator a number of years later, enable him to look quite critically upon his educators, almost, one could argue with an expert eye.
While growing up and observing my teachers at school, I have learned that it isn’t always an easy job. Teachers do everything they can to teach their students’ academic, social and other formative skills. Plenty of my teachers have to deal with complications, most of them being minor, but it isn’t always an easy job helping children, teens and young adults. As a student myself, I know they can be stubborn, unwilling to learn, aggressive, and irresponsible. Sometimes, they simply don’t care. However, that is a teacher's purpose: to help and shape their students to become better learners, so that they have a clearer understanding regarding a variety of subject matters. Someday, I actually want to become an elementary art teacher, which is

A Wireless Sensor Network can be composed of large number of tiny of sensor nodes spread in a wide area and communicating with each other either directly or through routing mechanisms to the other nodes. One or more of the nodes are the base station with uninterrupted battery source than the other nodes. Since the devices in WSN are often tiny devices with small form factor the computational power of these devices is usually small because there will not support large amount of hardware. Furthermore as the devices are wireless they need to obtain their energy from an inbuilt battery which in the end needs to be recharged or replaced. If the battery of a device is depleted it needs an immediate substitution to function further .
The education habits of students are rooted in them from the earliest days of their educational careers. The different influences on students, whether it be inside educational institutions, or outside is huge. The teacher of a classroom is the first and most pertinent influence in a student's educational career. Teachers provide students with the basic skills they would need to survive not only in the academic world, but also the world beyond. The relationship between teachers and their students is the key element in creating an educational atmosphere that is both pleasant and effective.
