When I was thirteen years old, my dad introduced me to golf. I have been hooked on to it ever since. I play golf for my high school and I am hoping to get a golf scholarship to somewhere when I graduate. My coach at the beach told me that the best way to get a scholarship is to play in summer tournaments around my area. I made the cut in the last tournament I played which was a qualifying tournament to go to Charleston for what they call “The All Star Championship”. My trip to Charleston was one of my favorite trips we have taken because I got to play golf the whole weekend, we stayed in a nice hotel, and the scenery was amazing.
I’ve taken part in baseball since I was 3 years old, it is by far my favorite sport. It truly holds something very special to me, because I look forward to it each year. When the season ends I enjoy it for about 2 weeks off, but then realize I’m not going to have another team practice til next year. My 9th grade year of sports took a turn of events when I tore my meniscus during football season. I had surgery March 8th of 2017. I couldn’t play that season and I was pretty depressed seeing all my buddies play. I remember hobbling over to meet Coach Boom and introducing myself saying I could help out doing stats for him. I tried to keep myself involved but it was hard not playing and just sitting on bench watching my family

After high school, some students decide to make the decision to go to college to further their education, earn a degree, have fun, and some, to play sports. College sporting events bring in money through tickets, jerseys, shirts, and other gear. The money made for all of these items and expenses go to paying coaches, the school, charities, utilities, and other expenses a school has to pay to have a sports team. Most college athletes are given scholarships to allow them not to have to pay for college or anything that comes with the college experience. Some athletes, that are good enough athletically, do not ever pay for tuition, living expenses, meal plans, books, and everything else a normal student would have to pay for. For some college athletes that is not enough. Some college athletes believe that they should get a paycheck based on the money that the school makes on putting on sporting events that these athletes are participating in. Other college athletes are satisfied with the scholarship given to them and do not seek additional money.
Baseball - From baseball, I have learned that working well with other is very important for being successful in the activity you are working on. Baseball has also taught me to be optimistic because if we’re losing a game, we have to continue to be positive and not get down on ourselves. If we continue to play to the best of our abilities, then we can easily turn the game around and win! This might help me in my career because if there ever comes a time where I have to work on a project with others at work, as a group we will be more successful at completing the task to the best of our ability if we can all work together. Optimism would help me in my career because it teaches me to always look for the silver lining and to always believe everything

However, since only few make it to the Major League Baseball level, I have chosen an additional career path.
There are many good athletes in professional sports today. There are many good athletes in college sports today also. 7.Before an athlete is granted an athletic scholarship, they have to be noticed by by an interested college or university.
