A Litigation Hold Directive providing the details of the case will be sent by the CIO to the appropriate Department Director or Dean.
13.2 Interviews with Legal Custodians. Interviews with legal custodians or other personnel may be conducted by legal counsel for the College to determine each individual’s knowledge and/or involvement with the situation. This includes confirmation of the receipt of the Litigation Hold and the existence of potential relevant Documents. If documents are stored at the warehouse, the College staff responsible for the department’s record retention will retrieve these documents promptly. This person will also identify the drives and folders that contain potentially relevant information so that IT/IS Services can preserve the relevant information stored in these electronic folders. E-mail and computer accounts of employees that have been placed on a litigation hold by College legal counsel will be maintained by IT/IS Services until the hold is released. No employee who has been notified by College legal counsel of a litigation hold may alter or delete records or that falls within the scope of that litigation
Returning back to school was a very natural decision for me. It seemed to be the next logical step in my personal and career goals. My ultimate goal is to be happy and healthy and be a good provider and role model. With that set aside for now, my next goal is to be financially stable and able to provide for my family in ways that my family was not able to provide for me. I definitely expect to work for what I want and earn every bit of it. The most recent motivator was that my company was willing to contribute a huge chunk of the yearly tuition, therefore removing some financial burden. This makes me feel like they truly care about my future and they really want to see me succeed.
All documents are dated and signed to allow us to have a visual audit trail which is easily identifiable. Any paper based documents that are no longer current are archived, clearly labelled and stored securely. Records of Assessment, achievement and Internal Verification activities are kept for the requested three year period and are readily available to the awarding body upon request.
Everyone has to make choices in their life. Some are everyday choices, like what to eat or drink. Others are more critical, like choosing a job. Important decisions take time to comprehend. Like with me, the decision to go to college was the most critical choice in my life and for my future, and I will never regret it. Going to college is important because it helps me find a job, it expands my knowledge, and it is a wonderful experience.
This paper is separated into two parts that are connected. The first part will cover my beliefs about higher education focusing on my Student Affairs philosophy while integrating theories and work from current or previous successful Student Affairs professionals. The second part will also discuss my beliefs, foundation of my faith, my strengths, my challenges, my beliefs, my values, and my goals.
Nowadays, tuition and expenses are exceedingly high, to the point that some students are forced to drop some of their courses or even worse stop going to school and continue working. Further, the average student who graduates today from a 4-year school owes $28,000 in student debt. This has alarmed government officials and concerned citizens alike; as a result, yielding many state and federal level proposals aimed at decreasing the financial burden of students. One campaign which recently launched last September 2015 and supports the advocacy of alleviating students’ debt is the America’s College Promise Act, more commonly known as the Heads Up America Campaign.
2. Employees are considered to be in receipt of notice of a claim or action when they receive a complaint, summons, and/or other official document(s) related to a lawsuit or claim.
Determining college readiness is an essential part in determining who will qualify as a good candidate for admission into a college or a university. The last thing that colleges want is for students to qualify for admission and drop out, this affects drop out rate and graduation rate. According Robin Chait and Andrea Venezia (2009),
Although the overall state of compliance for the organization is good, there are several areas that have been identified as “Priority Focus Areas” due to a past history of nonconformities. All these areas are related to Information Management and Record of Care, Treatment, and Services, in particular:
Now on to the requirement for the Board of Ed Policy. First let’s focus on the 1st part of the policy that says that the material must, “enrich and support the curriculum”. From my understanding the curriculum is based on the three questions, what is the impact of the legacy of slavery on America?, How has/is justice implemented in America?, How does change happen in this government? The book doesn’t focus on the third question, so I’ll talk about the 1st and 2nd questions. While the book does talk a lot about the fight for Civil Rights, our class, (which may be different than some other classes), doesn’t go that into detail about lynching, except for the Murder of Emmett Till. The book does, however, show the impact of slavery on America
Guidelines coming soon on retention and purging of participant files, looking at keeping files 6 year from last action on case.
All are standards listed in the agency self-review. A copy of the agency completed self-review and back up materials obtained during the review is available at the City.
If someone asked me where I am going to be in ten years, this would be my answer. I will have a great, high-paying job, and beautiful wife and family, and a nice sports car parked in front of my lovely house. When I look into the future, I see myself being successful and happy. Even though I always pictured myself this way, I never worried too much about how I would get there. I feel the Suffolk University can lay the groundwork for making these dreams into reality.
Across the nation, a current and critical issue that recently has been brought to light is a students’ access to accelerated courses such as the Advanced Placement, or AP courses. Research and data have shown that there has been a push for equity of all students being able to enroll in such courses as well as given an equal opportunity to access viable and rigorous curriculums ingrained in the courses (Colgren, 2015; Rowland, 2016; VanSciver, 2006). AP courses have traditionally consisted of predominately homogenous with restrictive barriers that limit the accessibility and access to participate in them. There has been a current trend of an open enrollment policy to both honors and AP courses that accept all students who are motivated to participate in courses that challenging academic curriculums (Winebrenner, 2006). This trend is due to motive and empower students from the underrepresented groups not typically seen in accelerated courses. In order for AP programs to grow and succeed, they should not be aimed just towards the typical, traditional AP student (Ashmead, 2013; Rowland, 2016) but rather should be open to
Southwest Airlines has developed the ability to attract top talent while retaining those already working within their company. This human resource function is one that companies are striving to continuously improve.
