If I were in charge of ticketing at a major university and were instructed to develop a priority points system for student ticketing, I would use various elements in determining how student priority access should be granted so it is rational, fair and it could give everyone a chance to earn points. One way to achieve points would depend on how involved a student is on campus. For example, if they volunteer at activities or are a member of a club, fraternity or sorority. I think another way to gain points that is reasonable would be seniority, students only have an estimate of four years on campus, so graduating senior may earn points for the fact they do not have much time left at the school. Last, I believe grades and grade point average should
On Wednesday, March 23, 2017, I, Officer B. McMillon, #135, of the Mansfield ISD Police Department while assigned to Legacy High School located at 1263 N. Main in Mansfield, Texas 76063. “To be or not to be?” I for one say not to be. Both Juliet and Rosanna McCoy rushed into love. I mean really, how can you fall totally in love with somebody you do not know at all? For Juliet she had said “my ears have not yet drunk a hundred words of thy tongues uttering, yet I know the sound.” (ACT II) Juliet was saying she has not heard Romeo speak 100 words yet she is totally in love with him. With Rosanna McCoy she did not say the same thing as Juliet but she fell in love with a man she knew nothing of except that her family hated his and vice versa. Sometimes the thing you should not have is an attraction in itself. I think for both Juliet and Rosanna that is exactly
This design (pictured above) was the final proof that would be sent off to the printers. The ticket design includes the crenellations boarder at the top accompanied by towers on each side which very closely replicate the look of almost every building on campus. On the lest panel of the ticket is the beloved cartoon mascot Spike the bulldog, in the main portion of the ticket in a light blue there is a repeat pattern of the Football team’s tag line “Fire Those Cannons”. This is the team’s main slogan, due to the fact that after every Citadel touchdown a select number of Citadel cadets fire actual cannons in the North-East section of the stadium. With the approval of the NCAA FCS, and the SoCon we were also allowed to include their logos on the ticket, making our tickets certified by both associations. At the top of the ticket in the navy-blue border lies The Citadel wordmark logo, providing the further official, and authentic look to the ticket stock, accompanied by “2015 SoCon Champions” at the top, displaying our success in the previous 2015 season.
When the student buys the pass it gives them a sense of relief because they no longer have to worry about parking, but it is sometimes not the case. It seems as though the university over sold the amount of passes compared to the number of spots available. Although the student paid the top price to park close to campus, they are made to park in lots that are on the other side of campus and the furthest from their class building. Students should be guaranteed a spot in the garage of their choosing if they paid to amount to be in that
416 Diamond Creek Road Mankato, Minnesota 56001 March 21, 2018 Mr. Dahline Principal Mankato East High School 2600 Hoffman Road Mankato, Minnesota 56001 Dear Mr. Dahline: I would like to address the rules concerning our Student Parking Lot at Mankato East High School. I do not feel that it is fair that students are required to spend one hundred and eighty dollars on a parking pass to park in the parking lot. I feel that this is a very high price to be put on students who wish to drive to school, which would be the majority of the sophomore, junior, and senior classes. I think that students who are planning to drive to school and park their cars in the lot should simply apply for a parking pass in the beginning of the school year, and then be
In Cambodia, mostly children have to start their life at school at the age of six years old; whereas, I started to be educated at the age of seven years old, in one of the public school in Cambodia. What I remember about that time is that I was so terrified to be sitting in the class. I was crying and wanted desperately going back to my house, but my parents tried to persuade me in order to stop crying and making noise in front of other classmates who sat silently and looked at me. It was so embarrassing to tell some of my stories when I was a child.
They 're everywhere! McDonald 's hamburgers can be purchased in cities and suburbs, on riverfronts, in college football stadiums and in discount stores. There are fast food restaurants at most major road intersections, and billions of dollars are spent annually to advertise everything from fast food frozen yogurt to kid 's meals. Grocery stores have even gotten into the act with their own versions of fast food restaurants. Families with sick children can stay in Ronald McDonald houses located close to the hospital where the children are receiving treatment, and businesses routinely come to the aid of disaster victims.
“A Pair of Tickets” is a short story in the book, The Joy Luck Club, which is compiled of several short stories told by 4 daughters and their mothers and this short story is the final chapter of the book and reflects a lot of the themes presented in the earlier part of this book. This book deals with all different types of mother daughter relationships between Chinese mothers with American daughters. This short story is told by Jing-Mei, or June, and her journey to meet her long lost sisters. Her mother has passed away and Jing-Mei is fulfilling her mother’s wishes. Her and her father travel to China, and visit family and Jing-Mei slowly discovers more about the culture she has been raised in and things begin to make sense for Jing-Mei.
A student can be excluded from their peer groups because they have a bad grade. Being left out can make a student not want to improve academically. If they get bad grades others will see them as a poor student and will expect them to do poor in life. The process most schools use to evaluate student performance is grade point average and class rank. The academic recognition programs that exist in the United States are driven by a student’s grade point average and class rank. Those measures serve as the primary method in establishing student recognition. If this ranking is not the sole factor in the recognition program, it is always included in the student’s assessment. The school culture recognizes individuals that are in the top one-third of the school’s class rank
It is unquestionable that numerous short stories in present-day include topics discussing the importance of family values and acknowledgement of culture. The main factor that sets the two stories “A Pair of Tickets” and “Flight Patterns” apart from countless is the fact that the two central characters are remarkably unique yet strikingly relatable. In the story “Flight Patterns” the main character William, is a Spokane Indian who embraces his culture and heritage. On the other hand, in “A Pair of Tickets” the central character, Jing-Mei, is a woman who genuinely did not regard herself as Chinese for a majority of her life. The values of family and importance of heritage are both exemplified in “A Pair of Tickets” and “Flight Patterns” however,
The game “flipping sheet” was really interesting and a learning experience for me. It was a group task for us. We had three chances for the same task. At the very first time we could not understand anything, we did not have a strategy or any preparation to do a group task. We friendly discussed about our task. We not only figured a plan, but also set everyone’s role in the game. Finally, we had a friendly and co-operative environment in the group. And we became first consecutively twice among the four groups as well!
