Studies and Techniques for Teaching Children with Autism

There are many diseases and disorders that plague today’s world, but one of the most serious of those disorders is autism. In fact, autism is the third most common developmental disability affecting four hundred thousand people worldwide (Autism Society of America). As of yet there is no treatment for autism, only a variety of dealing with this disorder. Autism is a process disorder of brain function. People with autism have trouble in communication, social interactions and play activities. This disorder makes it difficult for them to connect to the outside world. It is difficult for them to communicate with other people. In some cases people with autism has Aggressive and self injurious behavior. They may represent repeated body movement, such as rocking or hands flapping and unusual speak to people. They also represent sensitivities in the five senses of sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell. Autism usually appears during the first three years and continues throughout life. Introduction
There has been a number of studies on the behavior and development of children with Autism. This paper talks about four different types of studies about techniques teaching children with autism such as communication, socialization, cognitive development, and a number of other areas in children.
