Success Paper Part 1 ( Getting Life Together) September 25,1985, I started my career at a job that would allow me to grow as a person who would meet individuals along the way that would help me become the person I’m today. My first day on the job I really thought would be my last. I had no intention of staying with this company. Maybe it was the fear of growing up and becoming a responsible individual taking the step by getting a job. As I walked around being introduce to my co-worker’s one thing kept coming to mind (I will not be here long), this place is not for me, I’m not ready to experience the adult world if this is what it looks like I can do without it. On this day things have come to life, I’m now doing the things that everyone must
I graduated high school back in 1994. I was engaged to be married in just two years, and even though I joined the Pennsylvania Air National Guard right after graduation it was only one weekend a month and two weeks out of the year. So I needed a full-time job. A friend of the family knew a guy who was opening a second store, and was going to need a store manager. I took the job and got started. What I didn’t know was the guy I was just hired to work for was a little confused as to what he wanted. I hung onto the job for a little over a year hoping it would turn around but, no dice.
So when being asked to discuss an event that marked my transition from childhood to adulthood, this is the story I want to give. Before this had happened I didn’t have a job and wasn’t responsible enough to even think about having a job. But when it did happen it showed me that I had to make that transition in less than a week to get ready for the job I had been dreaming about every time I went into that store with my grandmother as a

Though life review and ordinary remembering seem synonymous, the two share very compelling and diverse similarities and differences. Life review and ordinary remembering are similar in that they both deal with recollections of the past from the onset of adolescence. The pivotal difference is that a life review takes a further step and helps the older adult recollect past memories by search for meaning within each experience and tapping into the emotions of those experiences. Ordinary remembering refers to a more informal and objective recollection of past experiences, while life review is the more formal, structural, and subjective examination of past

In family therapy to address what makes it hard for a family to handle their problems, one has to know and comprehend what makes families clash using models that focus on family therapy. One of the processes used is called Cybernetics which is the study of how feedback is used to stabilize mechanical systems. This model shows when a family functions through family rules and negative feedback how it will impact their response to the situation if it’s something they do not agree with and what can be done to try something different to yield a more positive outcome.
An example of a life changing milestone is something that changes a person’s perspective and thinking about themselves. I’m writing about how one Christmas changed how I acted, thought, and felt about myself. It was an early Christmas morning, I got up to the smell of freshly baked pancakes and bacon. I hurried up and got dressed so I could go eat some breakfast. After I ate breakfast I had to wait for my grandmother to arrive. When she got there we opened all but one present under the tree. It had my name on it and it was in a little tiny box, so tiny I almost didn’t see it. I slowly opened it to find a little note. On the note it told me to go into the garage. In the garage was another note, that lead back to the house and under the stairs.
Success can mean different things to different people. The definition of success can change for a person at different stages of their life. A person's culture, family, friends, experiences, and environment can be a big influence on defining what success is to that individual. We all hear the stories of people failing and failing until one day they make it to the top, beat the bad guy or pass the trial. The story can also go that they got all they desired or raised up from the ashes. All of these have one thing in common, it is at the end of the story. It's never the beginning or middle. It's always at the end of the story that the person succeeds in their quest. But why does it have to be at the end? Simply, like how there is no good without evil. You can not have succeed without struggling and failing first.
Spending the last two years working full-time at my father’s hardware store has been a period of major personal growth for me. For the first time, I took on a serious role in the business. I was no longer the boss’ son: I was tasked with trying to turn around a business that had been struggling for quite some time.

Success is to fulfil a goal that you have set for yourself. Achievement of success involves five components: realisation, confidence, motivation, action and perseverance.
