In the sports novel The Batboy by Mike Lupica Brian is the batboy for a Major League Baseball team. During the season he meets his idol, Hank Bishop, who is not who Brian thought it would be. The theme of the the book is to never give up, which is expressed by both of the main characters in the book.

Kids all over the world have summer jobs. Most kids rarely get to meet their favorite baseball player. Brian is one of the few lucky kids who gets to meet their favorite player. You’ll find help and motivation in places without even looking for it.

Who is the world's best sniper? It is Chris Kyle, also known as American Sniper, which is also the title of the book. The main character Chris Kyle is also the author of the book, but didn't publish it himself because of his death .The sum of the book is about a navy seal sniper that goes to war because of 911 and during his time in the war he becomes the best sniper in us military. It also talks about how he gets over his stress and being jumpy.

Where to begin? From start to finish this summer has been like no other. The 2D girls hit it off from the first week of camp with awesome sports and trips. Our very first trip was to gymnastics where our girls showed us their cool flips and tricks! Beach, Liberty science center, bowling, pump it up, and keansburg are just a few more of the fun trips we went on. Each day is jam packed with non stop fun and this is just glimpse of our everyday with you girls. Charlotte and Marilyn are always first in the pool showing us their cool pool tricks. When we have four square Linda, our superstar four square player, will be the first one running to be ace. Ruby and Leah are our star kickers helping us win our line soccer games! Who can forget our group name for the scavenger hunt?!? The 2D omelets definitely rocked it, taking first place! In dance, Grace, Mira, and Felicia always blow us away with their awesome moves!

Over the summer I read American Sniper I felt this book was a perfect fit for me I'm very pro military. I thought it would be a very interesting read since he was the most lethal sniper the US military has ever seen.

Matt Taibbi's opinions relate well to mine because i'm not usually a crazy person when it comes to war movies. But “American Sniper” changed my views on that. Since my uncle is a veteran, I never really get excited about war movies for the reason that millions are just riding waves of war curiosity and guilt; while telling their over-sensationalized story, rather than the real story. As Taibbi wrote how the effect from the movie creates many cheers and tears for the audience, and I agree with that. The part that got to me the most is when Cooper displayed classic signs of a veteran who doesn't enjoy being thanked. The biographical drama follows United States Navy Seal Chris Kyle throughout his life as the deadliest marksmen in U.S. Military history both on the frontline and stateside. Although it is rated R, this is a story everyone needs to hear. The film gives great acting performances while the personal accounts bring about a sense of realism and patriotism to viewers.

No one will be surprised to see a new Suicide Squad comic book hitting the shelves. The movie is only a few months away and the promotional machine is charged up and plowing along. Batman also only really comes out at night to make him more mysterious. To make him darker he only wears black and all his tools and vehicles are black or grey. Should the variant cover art for DC comics, Batgirl # 41, be censored? Yes, the cover art, by the artist Rafael Albuquerque should be censored. Although, Rafael's art was inspired from the original dark and violent story The Killing Joke by Alan Moore, that kind of violence, in a picture, is not very well received. Many women who viewed this work found it very upsetting because it implied that the Joker was going to seriously harm Batgirl. Even though the Joker hurt and crippled Barbara Gordon, whose alias is Batgirl, in the story, the fact is, if you did not want to read that, you didn’t have to. However, with thousands buying and reading the comic book, many women faced what they considered blatant disrespect by DC comics.

Super Soldiers: Sounds like something straight out of Call of Duty or Halo right? Scientists are getting closer and closer to being able to breed the perfect soldier. If we had the ability to create an army of the perfect soldier, there could be peace in the world, fewer casualties in times of war, and with all that, few, or no wars at all.

Through the the story Chris expresses himself, shows the struggles that war can cause, and what he as learned throughout this years as a Navy Seal.
