One of the main problems that seems to stick out is marital and relationship problems. Vitelli says that not only people who are dealing with problems in their relationship are easier to succumb to suicide, but studies also show that ending a relationship can increase the suicide risk as well. In the same way, being in a committed relationship can help against depression and stress, this sense of commitment may be dangerous after the relationship goes away.
