I am chairman of an AAR intermodal TAG, we are trying to figure out the best way to measure the intermodal service environment and identify two primary routes for actually evaluation. I am addressing the intermodal equipment’s draft system at Pueblo that they currently use to test and approve new loading patterns. Once done generate some testing that truly imitates the intermodal environment in the present day. Need two of NS intermodal lanes that would be either the longest intermodal ride, most likely to travel on, and/or the foulest ride (terrain, small yards that have to switch or not a dedicated intermodal train.) Please share your contemplations.
