Before leaders can model the way, they need to clarify their own values. “The employee should be praised for their outstanding performance. When the home depot pick a leader they pick it base on the quality, which has to be from within an individual”(To be a Great Leader, 2017). Effective leaders opt to implement a specific type of leadership style as a result of their personalities and job experiences, and apply it to their organizational structure. However, that particular type of leadership style a leader utilizes may not apply to every job situation (Peak et al., 2010). In order to be an effective leader, an individual must acquire the three basic leadership skills and they are as follows: (1) human relations; (2) conceptual skills; and (3) technical skills (Haberfeld, 2013). Additionally, a skillful leader must also be proficient in motivating, communicating, and problem solving (Hess & Orthmann, 2012).
There are some actions that can determine a leader’s characteristics; due to the fact that these characteristics are determined by their leader’s actions when protecting his or her comrades. A lot of leaders show characteristics toward the situations they encounter; such as being cunning to save themselves and others, showing bravery, and being loyal to other people and to himself. Leaders use these characteristics as leadership in order for him or her to solve the situations that they are currently experiencing. During real life situations, people are sometimes cunning when they are trying to solve their situations in a stealthy way. There are also some people who use the characteristics of bravery when facing their situations

Leadership is a personal skill that has to be developed and improved upon daily, just like an athlete works on his craft. We all come from different walks of life and that is often a factor in the way our leadership styles are shaped. Our differences of race, gender, religion, home environment, and lifestyle all have an effect on the way we are led growing up. It is a skill that is mastered over time, while never being perfected. Like anything else in life, leadership skills are often developed from who we are, where we come from and the people in our life who have taught us their knowledge.
Leadership can be defined as the process of identifying a goal, motivating others, and make them to achieve the mutually goals (Giltinane, 2013). The company has been operating in Malta for the last 12 years in which there has been a rapid growth in the company operations creating opportunities and developments. For the last two years I’ve had the opportunity to start working as a shop leader, developing my skills and gaining

Rapheale, this sounds like a leader that I know today that was asked to be the assistant of the company President. She first turned the job down about a year ago, then she took this job recently. She is great at relationship building, this helps with getting others to do things for her. Her networking skills are the best I have ever seen any my career. This leader you speak about drives me to do better and make needed changes in my personal and professional life as well.
When taking the two leadership surveys, it was interesting to see my personal leadership profile. My leadership style according to the survey is the instructional type, which in another world is direct leadership. My culture, upbringing, and work environment have transformed me to be direct leaders that are looking for stability. My staff members sadly do not have the opportunity to have a job that is autonomy; working in a manufacturing occupation, one has an organize agenda that cannot be deviated from the task ahead. When team members are needing help or trying to build the familiarity to run their equipment my personal leadership profile can be helpful, since being direct is a starting point to build knowledge. The more one individual shows knowledge, familiar, and passionate for their own results, the further laissez-faire I will become when proving they
