Bradbury’s “A Sound of Thunder” and Gloria Skurzynski’s “Nethergrave” each offers a sense of wonder that isn’t described in other pieces of text. However, between Ray Bradbury’s “A Sound of Thunder” and Gloria Skurzynski’s “Nethergrave” I see “A Sound of Thunder” as a better story, as it consisted of better explained and thought out science fiction elements such as time travel, more convincing character development, and the theme is definitely much more superior in comparison to “Nethergrave.”.
