The book This Naked Mind Control Alcohol is based on the true story of Annie Grace, who recalls her life of addiction to alcohol. She recounts her steps to sobriety all on her own power, by changing her unconscious and conscious desire to drink. “Anything unconscious dissolves when you shine the light of consciousness on it” – Echart Tolle (p. 26, para 2). Annie believes that the unconscious is a powerful force controlling our behaviors and is in part responsible for the cravings that we have.
