Neil Armstrong 's 1969 lunar landing was one of humanity 's greatest accomplishments. Since then, we have found that an infinite supply of knowledge and resources await us just outside our atmosphere. Today, however, critics are beginning to argue more and more that the cost of space exploration is too high, and therefore new technological developments should be left to the private sector. Whether funded privately or by the government, funding of space exploration is imperative because NASA is essentially the only agency with the technological capabilities to support aircraft manufacturing, air safety and air transportation. Space exploration has also resulted in remarkable innovations that has played a key role in aeronautics research, preventative medicine, and allows scientists to study asteroids, along with other space debris and their impacts on Earth.

Sal moved away from her home, in Bybanks which she adored very much. But what were the reasons? I am reading a book called The Empire Of The Summer Moon. This book is about the Comanche tribe, when reading this book it makes me realize how much the American government has done for its people in the past. Which honestly in my opinion insnt very much, it's always been the people of this nation that has gotten us through the hard times. This book shows the charisma, boldness, and strength of the American people during the mid 1800s. I enjoy this book greatly because i am learning about my heritage and where I came from and what it took for me to get here.
Winter is the final book in Marissa Meyer’s Lunar Chronicles series. These books are science fiction books with elements of classic fairy tales throughout them even though they are marketed the other way around. This final book was over 800 pages and twice the size of the first book. This book picks up a month after the events in the last book and spans the length of eight to nine days. This book also introduces a new set of characters Winter and Jacin. And following in fashion with the other books in this series it was told in alternating viewpoints. Although lovers of this series will be sad to see it end and some may disagree with how it ended, Winter is a thrilling conclusion to the series that complements and completes the overall story
The lunar effect has been a controversy for millions of years. In fact, " no celestial object has inspired more myth and legend than the full moon"(Newton). This shows how the lunar effect has been very controversial. Some reasons that cause the controversy of the lunar effect are the over-reliance of anecdotes instead of scientific evidence, as well as the exaggeration of the media, and the general publics ' inability to define the lunar effect. All of these reasons cause the controversy of the lunar effect to exist.

In the poem ‘Moon’, Kathleen Jamie explores themes of abandonment, loneliness and disconnection. She does this by utilizing a clearly dysfunctional relationship between a mother and child. The child replaces the either mentally or physically absent mother with the presence of the moon. To explore the emotional distance between child and mother, the author uses dark and light imagery to empathize the child’s loneliness and to evoke the scene of a parent visiting they child late at night. Personification of inanimate objects illustrates the detrimental effects the unavailable mother has on the child’s mental wellbeing. The poem ends with dialogue from the protagonist, the child, pointing out that the moon is not her mother, as if to be

A lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes directly behind the Earth into its umbra (shadow). This can occur only when the Sun, Earth, and Moon are aligned (in "syzygy") exactly, or very closely so, with the Earth in the middle. Hence, a lunar eclipse can only occur the night of a full moon. The type and length of an eclipse depend upon the Moon's location relative to its orbital nodes. Unlike a solar eclipse, which can only be viewed from a certain relatively small area of the world, a lunar eclipse may be viewed from anywhere on the night side of the Earth. A lunar eclipse lasts for a few hours, whereas a total solar eclipse lasts for only a few minutes at any given place, due
